Laura's POV
"He is so cute right!" I say looking over at my best friend Bella as we were walking back to my house from the mall with a bunch of bags from our shopping trip.
"Hey what's going on at your house?" Bella asks pointing to my house I look up and there were a bunch of police car surrounding my house.
"I don't know." I answer worry filling my voice. We walk faster as we are approaching the front door a police officer stops me.
"This is a closed crime seen Miss." The uniformed officer sticks his hand up to stop me.
"What crime this is my house where are my parents?" I ask firing one question after the other. The officer looks at me sadly, I did not like where this was going.
"I'm sorry to inform you that your parents have been murdered." The officer says looking at me with sympathy. I just shake my head the thought not registering. I feel Bella put her hand on my shoulder. i push past the officer he yells at me to stop but I just ignore him. I walk into my house and the police techs were everywhere tearing apart my house. I walk into the living room and I see blood everywhere and a man zipping up a body bag with my mother inside. I let out a scream and run to my parents body bag. For the first time since I entered the house the investigators noticed I was there. Two police officers pull me away from my parents and bring me to sit on the stairs they tell Bella she can come in and she sits next to me and puts her arm around me. They clean up the crime scene. As the last officials are leaving one of the detectives comes up to me.
"I'm sorry for your loss Ms. Marano but you can not stay here do you have a place to stay?" The detective asks me.
"She can stay with me." Bella pipes up from her spot next to me. I stayed with Bella that night but I did not sleep. I woke up every five minutes with tears in my eyes. I can't beleive my parents are gone forever what am I going to do now?
