Poseidon was devoured by Kronos along with his siblings but his brother Zeus was able to escape thanks to Rhea.
However he and his siblings stayed inside his stomach for years until they were floated by wine and came out from his stomach through his mouth.
They were on the ground covered with wine as they looked up to see Zeus looking at them with a smile on his face.
This lead them to fight against Kronos and the Titans in the war known as Titanomachy.
Zeus defeated his father and imprisoned the Titans in Tartarus but freed the Cyclops.
The Cyclops created three weapons for them as gifts for the big three freeing them.
Zeus was given the Thunderbolt.
Hades was given the Bident.
Poseidon was given the Golden Trident.
They drew straws to see which realm they will rule over.
Zeus became the Ruler of the Heavens and King of Olympus.
Hades became the Ruler of the Underworld.
And Poseidon became the Ruler of the Seas.
The Three of them respectfully accepted their realms and ruled over the three realms in the land that became Greece.
Years have passed but one day Zeus noticed Poseidon creating earthquakes and tsunamis due to his fury and temper.
But he found a solution to the problem, his brother needed a wife.
So he ask Nereus a former deity in decline to give up one of his beautiful daughters to marry Poseidon.
He felt honored to have one of his descendents reigning under the Seas.
Poseidon was informed that Nereus would grant one of his daughters to marry him.
He set off to meet his future life. they were introduced to him as he started to think who to choose who will become his new wife.
They were beautiful but one caught his attention, he met the Sea Goddess name Amphirite.
Her hair was black as night and her light blue eyes shine like the Ocean.
Upon seeing her dancing with her sisters, he already knew who will be his new wife.

What do you want? Said the Sea Goddess as she looks at Poseidon with nervous look on her face.
Poseidon: I choose you to become my wife.
