Nine men were packed inside a room, all with different personalities, looks, and quirks. Seven of them were sitting down on the floor, or the couches, while the two elder's stayed standing up.

The team has already graduated The Academy after finishing their Ashley Waters mission, however were concerned after they found that after they left, a student went missing. They decided to investigate it but was surprised after they realised the student 'didn't exist'. They realised that there was more that met the eye.

"Gentlemen, I believe that we're in a bit off a difficult situation with this personal mission," the man in the grey suit informed the seven on the floor. Eyebrows furrowed and muttering was heard after his confession.

One of the males started to talk," She was extremely fast. I nearly got her a few times, yet she always outran me with pushing people in my way and jumping down those damn stairs..." he trailed off at the end of his sentence and the rest of the boys looked at him with concerned looks on their faces. Luke Taylor had always been a charismatic person, bringing the life to the party; it was rare if he was ever serious.

"She did seem a bit out of breath when I talked to her on the train, you must've tired her out, Luke," Dr. Green said, his purple dress shirt was untucked from his grey pants. It had wrinkles at the hem of the shirt and he knew that a certain someone was going to have a fit at him.

"No. You were questioning her, Sean. She had trouble breathing. She tried to hide it but I could clearly hear it. I'm surprised you didn't realise, seeming as you are a doctor after all," Owen teased Sean, he pushed up his black-rimmed glasses against the bridge of his nose as Dr. Green narrowed his eyes at this best friend, but ignored his remark.

"Anyway, she tried to be innocent and play dumb with Sean's questioning but she couldn't win against us. We already knew her name and what she looked like. However, Miss. Sorenson did seem a bit overwhelmed so we left her to her own thoughts after the train stopped," Mr. Blackbourne explained.

"Do you know where she is now?" Kota asked. The leader of the group. He also had black-rimmed glasses just like Mr. Blackbourne. His brown hair was lazily flopped against his forehead but made no move to get it out of his way.

"Mr. Blackbourne contacted me after meeting Sang. He told me to check the security cameras and keep tabs on her - she left 20 minutes after Mr. Blackbourne and Dr. Green left her on her own," another male with brown hair announced. His hair reached the nape of his neck in gentle waves which were pulled back from his face.

"Ah. Thank you, Victor," Kota thanked him. Victor nodded his head and went back to the security cameras that were up on his laptop's screen.

"So what's our next move?" A gruff voice asked: it belonged to North Taylor, Luke's step-brother. Although he had what people would say, 'scary', features with his dark hair and brown eyes which was constantly in a glare, and was the second tallest person in the whole group of men, he was Luke's younger brother.

"We wait for her next move," Mr. Blackbourne responded.

"But how the fuck are we meant to know what she's going to do? For all we know she could jump off a fucking bridge and end it all here," another male voiced his opinion. Gabriel was surprisingly quiet throughout the whole meeting so everyone didn't blame him for blurting stuff out, considering he was normally a very verbal person.

"Miss. Sorenson wouldn't do such a thing. She knows her worth and she's gone this far already - it would be a waste if she did end it all here,"

Gabriel slouched in his position but stayed quiet. He knew that Mr. Blackbourne was right. She's made this much progress, it'd be a shame if she did do such a thing.

Mr. Blackbourne cleared his throat. "As we already know, her name has been broadcasted on the news and her name will be on people's tongues in a span of a few days. The police will eventually leave this is a forgotten murder case, and no justice will be served,"

"But... what if it wasn't a first-degree murder in the first place? What if it was actually just manslaughter?" Luke whispered. Mr. Blackbourne sighed.

"Dr. Green and I have thought of that, but haven't fully delved into those 'what ifs'. If it was an accident, then it was an accident. However, Mrs. Sorensons' body was found buried in their backyard, while Miss. Sorenson was in the house with her. The gun buried with Mrs. Sorenson had Miss. Sorenson's fingerprints on it, and the hand marks on her step-mother's neck linked back to Sang. The police said it was first-degree so we have to conclude that it's first-degree,"

"But she looked so innocent when I looked into her eyes. I can't forget those eyes. She looked so tired- so lost. I don't think she would've ever killed or hurt anyone if she wanted to," Luke stared at the all behind Mr. Blackbourne as he recalled the emerald eyes he saw a few hours ago. Sang had eye bags underneath her eyes and her skin looked sickly white. He didn't think that she had looked in the mirror for quite some time.

"You can't just judge a person off of their eyes, dude," Nathan spoke without hesitation after Luke's speech. Nathan had short, reddish-brown hair; his blue eyes and angled chin made him look serious and older than his usual age.

"You weren't there when you saw her, Nathan," Luke swore.

Nobody knew except for the older Taylor. Mr. Blackbourne and Dr. Green couldn't even see her eyes as she hid them behind her baggy, black hood but now the latter wished he did. He wanted to see her emerald eyes. He wanted to see them.

"I understand how you're feeling, Luke," Mr. Blackbourne told him, "but we need to focus on what's important right now, alright? We need to find out whether this girl is innocent or not," Kota's eyes widened as he realised that he wasn't short-sighted in this whole thing anymore. Mr. Blackbourne thought that she's neither guilty nor innocent. He almost smiled at that.

"Alright, Mr. B..."

The meeting resumed, but a certain Greek giant stayed quiet the entire time. Everyone knew that he didn't talk as much as everyone else as he moved with North to stay with him. Silas was comfortable with his chosen family, yes, but he just didn't like talking that much overall. Especially in a language that wasn't Greek.

He also believed in his heart that Sang Sorenson was innocent whether Nathan, or anybody else, liked it or not.

How was I going to survive?

"Report, Victor," Mr. Blackbourne asked the male. Victor had been up all night keeping an eye out for the enigma, Sang Sorenson. He saw that she booked a motel room but didn't see a lot after that.

He was going to keep the fact she almost broke her ankles trying to jump out the motel window a secret. Just for his own humour.

"She climbed back into her room and looks to be sleeping..." he responded, Mr. Blackbourne nodded his head.

"Did you see where she went before?"

"Yes. She went to a thrift store nearby. She found her way back to the motel easily," Victor was surprised. The area she was in was quite big, and she travelled pretty far away from the motel to go find some clothes. It was simply outstanding.

"That's significant because?"

"Her navigation is remarkable. I don't get how she remembered all those corners and crossings - she travelled about half a mile and still came back without getting lost," Victor said in awe. He was genuinely astounded by this girl.

"Mr. Morgan, you could easily do that," Mr. Blackbourne pointed out. Victor shook his head.

"That's the thing. We're Academy, anybody in the Academy could do that. But an ordinary citizen? It's impressive. She must have a photographic memory- or something,"

"I see..." Mr. Blackbourne usually knew what to say in situations, but this one threw him off a loop. He straightened his maroon tie.

"Thank you, Victor,"

"It's no problem, Mr. B,"
