I was on the run again. These guys really had me cornered though, I didn't know where I was going to be quite frank and I didn't have enough time to think of where I was supposed to go - these dudes came out of nowhere.

I seemed to be on a trail now, I ran past families on hikes and people walking their dogs, the trail was inclining by the second and I knew that multiple of the men were behind me as I heard gravel crunching underneath their soles. They were catching up real fast and they'd catch me before I could even say 'not guilty'.

I turned the sharp corner and the trail suddenly stopped. I dragged my converses against the gravel to prevent me from falling to my death. I realised this was a dead end. A cliff.

The view was perfect, but it wasn't the time for me to admire it. My breaths came out in pants as I stared ahead of me into the setting blues and reds. I looked down and saw a lake, it was perfect for jumping into.

Perfect for me to jump into.

"Fucking hell, you run fast," somebody said from my left, he was also out of breath. Good to know I wasn't the only one struggling.

"Miss Sang. We promise that we don't come in harm, we just need answers," this voice was more stern and confident, a contrast to the other dude. I turned around and was met with 3 gazes.

"How could I ever trust you on that?" I asked. I shuffled closer to the edge of the cliff as my chest rose with every breath. The dude with black-rimmed glasses noticed that and stepped closer to me - I shuffled backwards.

"Kota, what's wrong?" I averted my gaze to a man with reddish-brown hair, he seemed to have an athletic build. He was probably the one who was constantly behind me. Black-rimmed glasses, Kota, looked at him. Were they talking with their eyes?

The redhead looked alarmed for a second, but composed himself almost immediately. He looked at me straight in the eyes which nearly brought me to my knees.

I prayed to the heavens above and took a deep breath. I closed my eyes and while opening them, smirked slightly.

The male with blonde streaks in his hair looked the most confused out of the two, it made sense. The other two didn't tell him what I was doing. I looked at crystal-blue eyes and he stiffened.

"Don't you guys want to tell this poor guy what I'm going to do?"

"What the hell's she talking about?" he gritted out, fists clenched so hard that they resembled white snow. I held his gaze and he held mine. I had no idea where this confidence was coming from, but I was enjoying it thoroughly.

"Gabe. She's gonna fucking jump," redhead muttered, 'Gabe's' eyes widened in shock and my smirk morphed into a full blown smile. They all looked startled.

"You're kidding. Are you that crazy?!" he cried. I chuckled which made him look even more uneasy.

"Well... you're gonna have to watch. I'll see you later, 'kay?" I said, saluting them with two fingers. It was like slow motion. As I pushed off the edge, 3 pairs of hands went to grab me, but I was gone before they could.

The wind whipped in my face, making my dark-blonde hair go everywhere. Goosebumps pricked my skin. I was laughing maniacally. I felt alive. Using my momentum, I turned my body and raised my arms into a diving position into the water. It was icy, alright. Luckily it was deep otherwise I could've cracked my skull - or my hands. My poor hands.

I front-crawled to the bank of the lake, my blood was still pumping and I genuinely couldn't believe I did that. I pushed myself up into a standing position and looked up at the cliff.

The male's mouths were dropped and their eyes were widened, it was honestly comical and I wished I still had my phone so then I could've taken a photo, for my own amusement, of course.

"You're fucking crazy, woman!" 'Gabe' shouted, the two others seemed to have gotten out of their shock and looked at me - pure horror was on their faces and I couldn't help but laugh quietly.

I shook my head rapidly and remembered my plan - I had to get out of there before they get me. I peeled off my white hoodie and tied it around my waist, I had to get rid of these clothes before I caught a cold. I didn't want anymore breaks, especially with people chasing me.

I turned away from the three and observed the other trail ahead of me, it was more enclosed than the one up there and my senses were heightened.

I shook my hands quickly in anticipation and didn't look back as I ran forward.
