Somewhere in a kingdom called Roan, specifically in a room inside an extravagant palace. There was a group of people sitting around an oval looking table.

"So may I ask for the reason of calling us all here, Miss Cage?" Said a holy looking prince smiling innocently (not really) at the woman Infront of him

"His highness is right" said a vicious black haired swordmaster "We are in war, we cannot go around wasting our time on some unimportant matters."

"Maybe you should wait to hear what she has to say before considering it unimportant" warned an ethereal looking man, with long golden hair.

"Eruhaben-nim is right Choi han, let us hear what you have Miss Cage"

"Yes your highness" a brown haired woman with a priestess's uniform answered."I received a message from the God Of Death, your highness"

All the heads in the room perked up, at the mention of the God Of Death.

"What did he say?" A man with silver colored hair asked impatiently

"Calm down Lock, let her continue" A mage with red hair calmed the boy down, slightly annoyed by his interruption.

"Yeah, sorry Rosalyn noona"

"As I was saying, I received a message from the God Of Death" the priestess continued " He said that the 20 years of war will end up with the enemy's success " she said her head down.

The gloomy room turned even gloomier. Golden mana starting to form a cloud above the table, mixed with a dark swordmaster's aura, sending shivers down the spine of the guards' standing out of the door.

"Calm down, I didn't finish yet" the priestess said trying to calm their rage.

"HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO CALM DOWN" the swordmaster said shouting.

"WE HAVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR TWENTY YEARS, TWENTY YEARS OF SACRIFICE, TWENTY YEARS OF US FIGHTING PUTTING OUR SOULS AT THE RISK OF DEATH, ONLY TO LOSE " the mage said breaking down.
( Wah how dramatic 🤣 I am cringing right here, this looks stupid. I am sorry continue)

"ALL THE PEOPLE WE LOST THROUGHOUT THE YEARS, all their sacrifice was in vain " the silver haired wolf said, mumbling the last part quietly.

They were all breaking down, not listening to Cage wanting to continue her speech. Until Alberu got a hold of himself saying" You can continue Miss Cage "

"Yes your highness, the God Of Death told me that he found a way to help us " she continued, giving them some hope but they were still conflicted.

" How? " blurted out the ancient dragon while sitting on the chair elegantly

" He said that he can give us another chance .. " she paused a little before saying "by sending us to the past "

The people in the room were left in shock, but they were glad that there is still hope.

" Does that mean that the people the died will come back? " Lock asked having the hope of meeting his brothers again.

" Yes " Cage confirmed smiling brightly " All of them, our friends and family, EVERYONE "

But then Alberu asked a question that got them all out of their dreams

" But...how would we win if we still have the same strength if not worse. If we knew what would happen it still wouldn't be easy to fight the White Star, he is still...stronger " Alberu said, knocking some sense into the dreaming bastards.

" You've got a point there " Eruhaben confirmed
" Knowing the future wouldn't be enough to stop it , they can simply make another plan. And we still can't have enough power."

" We need more strength, people and mind " Rosalyn added, having both Lock and Choi han nodding agreeing with her.

" That's why " Cage said bringing the attention back to herself " the God Of Death gave me this
She said pulling out a crystal like thing colored in red " he said that this is a navigation device, it can help us reach a person that would be able to help us after we go back "

The others in the room stared at the device with hope...

While a certain red head wanna be slacker sneezed saying " I got the chills, something bad is gonna happen and how many f*cks do I give? None" he said going back to sleep, not knowing that his so called slacker life is gonna be at risk so soon.....
