Cale's playful demeanor vanished, and he grew serious once again. He glanced around at the gathered dragons before answering, his voice steady and resolute.

"The White Star."

these words were enough to turn the room's atmosphere "His moves are currently affecting the ocean, you might not know but the ocean is now under my rule, I have taken the place as the emperor. The White Star is here for the myth and is affecting some of my people

"The White Star."

Those words alone were enough to shift the entire atmosphere in the room, filling it with a tense, almost ominous silence. Cale's gaze was steady as he continued, "His latest moves are affecting the oceans-territory now under my rule, as I've assumed the role of Emperor. He's after the ancient legend surrounding the phoenixes, and his actions are directly impacting my people."

"You became the Emperor?" Rasheel asked, his laughter loud and slightly unhinged, clearly entertained by the news. But his amusement was short-lived, as a fist landed firmly across his face before he could utter another word.

(I'll leave it to you to guess who threw the punch.)

Meanwhile, Sheritt was muttering to herself, "The White Star," her voice laced with barely contained rage. Everyone in the room knew the depth of her hatred for him; after all, it was the White Star who had taken her beloved son's life.

"What else has he done?" Sheritt asked, her tone deadly calm as she struggled to keep her emotions in check.

Cale took a brief glance at Eruhaben before replying, "The Roan Kingdom. He's been launching attacks there, but... there are a few things we need to explain first." His words hung in the air, adding another layer of tension.

Confusion flickered across the others' faces as they exchanged uncertain glances. Then, Eruhaben cleared his throat, drawing their attention.

"Actually......"

Ten minutes later, Eruhaben had finished explaining the dire situation they faced in the future-a nearly hopeless battle against the White Star that had led them to make the drastic decision of traveling back in time. He conveyed the urgency of the threat, emphasizing that the White Star was not someone to underestimate.

Rasheel, leaning forward with a skeptical scowl, interrupted, "Do you really expect us to believe that you went back in time? Who do you think you're fooling?"

Cale, meanwhile, seemed entirely unbothered by the conversation. He had his head resting on the table, half-asleep, appearing thoroughly disinterested in Rasheel's outburst.

Eruhaben met Rasheel's challenge with calm resolve. "I have no reason to lie about something this critical," he replied evenly while giving Rasheel a pointed look.

Mila, observing the weight of Eruhaben's explanation, sighed, "This is going to be a significant problem. From how all of you speak about this White Star, it's clear he's an immense threat."

"Exactly," Sheritt added, her hands balling into fists. "He's not just after Cale's heart, power, blood and immortality. Knowing him, he is probably already after Eruhaben's and Raon's hearts as well-and likely won't stop at that." The pain of losing her son once before simmered beneath her words, intensifying her hatred toward their foe.

Rasheel sneered in defiance. "That pest thinks he's something special? He's just a worthless insect," he muttered furiously, glaring at the thought of the White Star's arrogance.

And still, Cale remained unperturbed, his head on the table as if none of this concerned him in the least.

"What's the plan moving forward?" Sheritt asked, turning her attention back to Eruhaben.

Eruhaben explained, "Cale's strategy is to recruit all of you to our cause. He believes that the White Star will be launching his final attack soon, and we need every ally we can muster. Cale's assembled a formidable force-the sea tribes, who now recognize him as their Emperor, the jungle's warriors, the Roan Kingdom's support, the dark elves and a swordmaster. And, knowing Cale, there are likely other forces we don't yet know about," Eruhaben finished with a weary smile, while Sheritt and Mila exchanged resigned glances, already familiar with Cale's sudden revelations.

While the three strategized, Rasheel seized the opportunity to slip over to where Cale was dozing, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. Using a bit of magic to chill his hands, he wrapped his fingers around Cale's neck, startling him awake. Cale jerked upright, eyes wide as he shivered, and immediately shot a glare at Rasheel, who was now doubled over with laughter on the floor.

"YOU LITTLE PHOENIX!" Rasheel howled, tears of laughter streaming down his face. "YOU LOOKED JUST LIKE A FRIGHTENED CAT!"

Cale muttered under his breath, "You're asking for it," before swinging a punch at Rasheel, who only laughed harder.

The three elder dragons, seated around the table, exchanged blank looks as Cale and Rasheel's antics grew louder.

"Are they always like this?" Eruhaben asked, his tone deadpan.

"Yes," Mila replied with a tired nod, echoed by Sheritt.

The two didn't seem likely to settle down anytime soon, so the others resumed the discussion. With a collective understanding, Sheritt and Mila agreed: Mila, Dodori, and Rasheel would accompany Eruhaben and Cale to their base and join the final battle. Sheritt, meanwhile, would remain at the Castle to support in any way she could, ready to contribute her powers from afar.

The dragons had made their decision; they were now fully committed to the fight against the White Star.
