"First things first, who said that I am going to be your emperor?" Cale announced, his voice dripping with skepticism. He folded his arms over his chest, his expression clearly indicating that he had no intention of changing his mind. However, what Cale didn’t know was that Jour had anticipated his resistance and had already armed the leaders with a cunning plan.

"EEEEEEH?!" exclaimed both George and Archie in unison, their eyes wide with shock. Aries, Amos, Whitra, and Paseton exchanged confused glances, trying to make sense of the situation.

"What do you mean you don't want to, Your Highness?" George asked, his voice laced with betrayal.

"Your Highness, please reconsider," pleaded Archie, looking equally desperate.

While the younger tribe members appeared frightened and desperate, the older ones remained calm, their composure sending chills down Cale's spine. He quickly brushed off the uneasy feeling.

"I don't want to," Cale replied dismissively, crossing his arms.

"But Your Highness, you should continue after your father," Whitra urged, trying to reason with him.

"Why should I?" Cale asked nonchalantly, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Heh! I didn't even know him until today, and guess what? I still don't even know his name."

Gerald suddenly burst into laughter, startling everyone. "BAHAHAHA! You are definitely His Majesty's son, Your Highness," he said, laughing maniacally. The younger tribe members and Cale stared at him, stupefied.

"He's right," Hera added, chuckling. "I remember your father refusing the crown, saying something about wanting a lazy life. Hahaha!"

"Your Highness," Shickler called out, trying to maintain a serious tone. "Your father's name was Carlos, the greatest emperor of the sea for centuries."

Cale looked unimpressed. "Well, good for him. I don't care," he said dismissively, earning another round of laughter from Gerald and Hera.

'What's with them? They're really annoying. Are they really as old as they should be?' Cale thought, visibly annoyed.

"You are definitely His Majesty's son, Your Highness," Halter said, still looking grim but with a slight smile playing at the corners of his mouth.

"WHY ARE YOU ALL LAUGHING?!! HE LITERALLY SAID THAT HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE THE EMPEROR!" George exclaimed, his face turning red with frustration.

"As much as I don't want to agree with him," Archie added reluctantly, glancing sideways at George, "he's right. You should all be worried, not laughing."

"They are right," Aries said, her cold eyes showing a flicker of concern.

"Ah, don't worry, children. Jour-nim had already expected this to happen. Definitely his mother," Shickler said, muttering the last part under his breath.

Cale's interest was piqued despite his annoyance. "What does my mother have to do with this now?" he asked, his tone sharp.

"Your Highness, allow me to explain," Halter requested politely, not wanting to provoke Cale further.

"Do it," Cale demanded, his demeanor serious. The atmosphere grew tense as everyone sensed the gravity of the situation and Cale's sensitivity regarding his mother.
