The next morning, I felt like I had been run over by a dump truck.

Partly because I slept like a fucking log, but also because Caleb slept next to me, and the boy doesn't know how to sleep still.

My whole body ached.

Nevertheless, I got up from bed and did my morning routine; brush teeth, take a bath, skin care, minimal makeup, and pick an outfit.

I wore a white short-sleeved fitted crop top, a pair of wide-legged jeans, and my New Balance 9060 Mushroom's.

Yeah, long name.

You sort of get used to it when you're rich. Most brands have really long ass names just because it's a type of cloth or it's just a new addition to a collection.

I find it annoying, though, that some cloth names are so long, but what can I do about it?

I walk down the stairs, trying to exercise my body from the pain and stiffness.

I slept a whole seven hours. That's saying something.

Why is there always food smelling?

As I got to the kitchen, I saw Abeo in front of my stove, with everyone else sated around the dining table.

"Good morning." I say, and everyone's attention turns to me.

"Bonjour, amore." Aunt Nikki said, at the same time, Aunt Kira said, "E kaaro, ìràwò."

They both looked at each other, then laughed.

I have a weird family. I can't even imagine bringing any boy home to meet them.

Wait. What the fuck?

"Hey, Mimi. Are you up for some pancakes?" Abeo asks as I sit at the dining, beside Xander like last night.

Except he was sleeping on the dining table, his head perched between his hands and his head rising a bit from his steady breathing.
