Alright, I've saved the part I wanted to write for the next chapter. It's hard to explain without giving away any spoilers. But you already know that their connection was so strong that even after all this time, the feelings never faded.

For that, I couldn't just do something like:

"Oh, I hate you"

*kiss in the rain. Eternal passion*

It requires a proper build-up. And I must confess (even though it's tiring, I'm falling in love with them as I write. I hope you are too.)

You think it's easy

You think I don't want to run to you

But there are mountains

And there are doors that we can't walk through

I know you're wondering why

Because we’re able to be just you and me within these walls

But when we go outside

You're gonna wake up and see that it was hopeless after all

All I want is to fly with you

All I want is to fall with you

So just give me all of you

It feels impossible
(it's not impossible)

Is it impossible?

Say that it's possible

The day of the return to Hogwarts was fraught with chaos. Ever since Bellatrix's wedding last month, the atmosphere at home had been charged, as if an invisible storm was brewing on the horizon, ready to break.

At the station, James couldn't contain himself. He was leaping and cheering, his excitement rivalling the whistle of the Hogwarts Express. There was still a year to go before he could join me.

The air was filled with lively conversations, the smell of burning coal, and the sound of hundreds of hurried feet on the stone floor.

When the clock struck eleven, I began my farewells. Mum hugged me tighter than ever before. "Be careful who you talk to, avoid the forest, and obey Dumbledore," she whispered in my ear, her words as swift as lightning.

"I always take care, Mum," I replied.

"Promise me."

"I promise."

Only then, after one last tight embrace, was I allowed to board.

I looked for Alice, but her carriage was already full. In the end, I found an empty compartment in the last row of the train. During the journey, my eyes followed the landscape in blurred greens and greys, while a storm of confused thoughts swirled in my mind.
