As Yoon and Syung sat down for dinner, she sensed a weight on his mind. "Hey, are you okay?" she inquired.

He gestured for the waiter to order wine, and they placed their dinner orders. Not wanting to upset her, he smiled and promised to explain after they ate. Her confusion grew at the sudden change in his demeanor.

Their dinner conversation mostly revolved around the future and the potential of solidifying their relationship. Syung took the last bite from her plate as Yoon refilled her glass with wine.

Looking up at him, she heard him say, "I have something to tell you. But first, I need to know, do you love me enough to want to hear what I have to say?" She was certain it was too early for a marriage proposal, which made the situation seem peculiar.

"I do love you, but you're scaring me. Just say it," she urged, taking his hand.

"Syung, I am leaving Busan for England in a few weeks. I want you to come with me," he said as gently as he could without upsetting her, she withdrew her hand, looking completely shocked at the news.

"You're serious? When did you make this decision?" Syung asked.

"A month ago. I wasn't planning to stay as long as I have. I'm starting my art foundation in England, and I plan to assist Woo Industries and return power to my sister Su Bin. I have accomplished that today so I will be leaving Busan soon."

"I can't just up and leave. My father's legacy and all the work he has done in Busan—how can I abandon it?" she said, upset and puzzled by his intentions of drawing her in only to reveal this.

"Yoon, I love you. We've just reconciled; how can you ask me to leave now?" Syung was distraught, at a loss for words. Tears welling up, she rose and exited the restaurant.

Yoon hadn't expected her to take the news so harshly.

Though surprised, he had braced himself for a strong reaction. He ordered a stronger drink, reflecting on her sharp yet understandable reply. After paying the bill, he departed and went for a drive. He thought about calling her but concluded it would be pointless at that moment. He decided to wait a while before attempting to meet her again.

Yoon immersed himself in the work of his foundation, with a PR and HR team hired for him. He completed the design of the building he had purchased and continued to assist his sister with wrapping up loose ends. Two weeks had passed since he approached Syung, and she had not reached out to him he was truly concerned.
