Park Cho Hee never forgot the enigmatic Yoon Woo, whom she had fallen for during their years in therapy together. She was ready to confront her feelings for him, yet she also knew it was time to close the chapter on Yoon Woo in her life.
Syung Mi agreed to meet Cho Hee at a coffee shop she often visited. She was just as curious about who Cho Hee was and why Yoon Woo mattered so much to her to think he would not be by her side was unthinkable but she still had to know for her sake.
Syung took a hot bath, poured herself a glass of wine, and settled in for the night. Her days were consumed with work and implementing policy changes at Bealk Industries.
Yoon Woo occupied a significant place in her thoughts as well.
Yoon Woo and Su Bin sat down to discuss his wish to hand over the company to her. While having her brother home was wonderful, she knew she needed him. She understood that when he returned, it was inevitable that he would leave one day.
"I love you, and though I long to be far away, I'll return home the moment you need me this place no longer feels like home; my passions lie beyond the corporate world. It's the weight of responsibility that feels confining. You're more suited for this role. The company is thriving, making it the perfect time for you to take over as Chair... I can remain on the board to ensure stability. It's been a tremendous effort, and I'm relieved to see our fortunes reversed," Yoon expressed, as Su Bin's eyes welled up and she clasped his hand.
"I understand... I'm so proud of you; we've both endured so much It's time for you to let go of the past and embrace joy in your life again. We'll be alright," Su Bin replied standing to embrace him.
They sat down for one last drink. "I know it's probably a sore subject, but what about Syung Mi? Are you finished with that situation, or do you need time to sort things out with her? The ordeal with Lee Boa was terrible, yet she wanted nothing more than to know you were safe and well. Hyun, she still loves you," Su Bin said, looking at him. He was taken aback to hear her say those words. Conflicted, he told his sister clearly, "I'm not sure, but I'm aware she's been dealing with a lot I admit when I returned home, I was curious to know if she still loved me. I love her, and that whole situation made me realize I can't run from it."
Yoon at that point knew what he had to do.
