In Sahih Muslim, our beloved Mother Aisha رضي الله عنها narrates a touching incident that reveals the deep dedication of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to the Tahajjud prayer. One night, she woke to find the Prophet ﷺ absent from their bed. In the darkness, her hands sought him out and found him in prostration, immersed in heartfelt dua:
"اللَّهُمَّ أعُوذُ برِضَاكَ مِن سَخَطِكَ، وبِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِن عُقُوبَتِكَ، وأَعُوذُ بكَ مِنْكَ لا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ أنْتَ كما أثْنَيْتَ علَى نَفْسِكَ"
"O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath; I seek refuge in Your forgiveness from Your punishment; I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot praise You enough, You are as You have praised Yourself."

2. Attributes of Allah: This dua exemplifies the understanding of Allah's attributes—His pleasure and wrath, forgiveness and punishment. It teaches us that we can seek refuge in one attribute of Allah from another, acknowledging His complete sovereignty and mercy.
