The next morning, Miyako found herself standing outside Principal Yaga's office, her heart pounding with anticipation. She needed answers, and he was one of the few people who might have them. His gruff exterior belied a deep well of knowledge about the inner workings of the jujutsu society.

She knocked on the door and waited. After a few moments, Yaga's voice called out, granting her permission to enter. She stepped inside, closing the door behind her.

"Principal Yaga," Miyako began, her voice steady but insistent. "I need to talk to you about some of the past missions that went wrong. I believe there's more to them than we're being told."

Yaga looked up from his desk, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Miyako, there are some things better left alone. Delving into the past can be dangerous, especially when it comes to failed missions."

She felt a surge of frustration. "But those missions resulted in the deaths of our comrades. Don't they deserve the truth? Don't we all?"

He sighed, leaning back in his chair. "I understand your concern, but some truths are too dangerous to uncover. It's better for everyone if certain things remain buried."

Miyako's determination only grew stronger. "With all due respect, Principal Yaga, I can't accept that. I need to know what happened. Lives were lost, and I believe there are people who need to be held accountable."

The principal's expression softened slightly, a hint of sadness in his eyes. "Miyako, you have a good heart. But this isn't a path you should walk alone. Trust me, it's better to let some things go."

She clenched her fists, fighting back the urge to argue further. She could see that Yaga wouldn't budge, and pushing him more would only raise suspicion. "I understand. Thank you for your time, Principal Yaga."

With a respectful bow, she turned and left the office, her mind racing with unresolved questions. If Yaga wouldn't help her, she'd have to find the answers herself.

---

Later that evening, under the cover of darkness, Miyako made her way back to Yaga's office. She knew it was risky, but she couldn't let the opportunity slip by. The information she sought could be hidden in the mission files stored there.

She picked the lock with practised ease and slipped inside, closing the door quietly behind her. The room was dimly lit, the moonlight casting long shadows across the floor. She moved quickly, searching through the filing cabinets and drawers.

Finally, she found a drawer marked "Failed Missions." Her heart raced as she pulled it open, sifting through the files. She found records of missions she recognized, each one ending in tragedy. The details were chilling, revealing a pattern of manipulation and betrayal.

One file, in particular, caught her attention. It detailed a new mission, one that hadn't been announced yet. The objectives were vague, but the underlying motives were horrifying. The mission was designed to eliminate a group of sorcerers who were considered a threat to the higher-ups' control, just like the others.

Miyako's hands trembled as she read through the file. The names of the targets were listed, people she knew and respected. The higher-ups were planning to eliminate them under the guise of a dangerous mission, just as they had done before.

She couldn't let this happen. She had to do something. But she couldn't do it alone. She needed someone she could trust, someone who understood the corruption within the jujutsu society.

She needed Geto.

Her mind made up, she carefully replaced the files and locked the drawer. She slipped out of Yaga's office and made her way back to her room. She knew meeting with Geto would be dangerous, and it meant betraying her school and her job. But the lives of her comrades were at stake, and she couldn't stand by and do nothing.

---

The next day, Miyako sent a discreet message to Geto, asking for a meeting. She couldn't risk being seen with him, so she suggested a secluded location on the outskirts of the city. She knew it was a risk, but she had no other choice.

As she prepared to leave, she felt a pang of guilt. She was betraying everything she had worked for, everything she believed in. But the higher-ups had already betrayed her, and countless others. The only way to stop them was to expose the truth, no matter the cost.

She made her way to the meeting spot, her heart heavy with the weight of her decision. She didn't know if Geto would help her, or if he would turn her in. But she had to try.

---

The sun was setting as Miyako arrived at the designated location, a quiet clearing in the woods. She waited, her senses on high alert. Every rustle of leaves and snap of twigs set her nerves on edge.

Finally, she heard footsteps approaching. Geto emerged from the shadows, his expression wary but curious. "Miyako," he said, his voice calm but guarded. "What is it? Why did you want to meet?"

Miyako took a deep breath, steeling herself for what she was about to say. "Geto, I found something. A new mission, planned by the higher-ups. They're targeting sorcerers who they see as a threat, just like before. I need your help to stop them."

Geto's eyes narrowed, a mixture of anger and concern flashing across his face. "Are you sure about this?"

She nodded, her resolve unwavering. "I have the files. I saw the names. We can't let them get away with this."

For a moment, Geto was silent, weighing her words. Then he nodded, his expression determined. "Alright. We'll stop them. But you need to be careful. This is dangerous territory."

Miyako felt a surge of relief. She wasn't alone in this fight. Together, they would expose the higher-ups and bring justice to those who had been wronged.

As they planned their next steps, Miyako knew the road ahead would be perilous. But she was ready to face whatever challenges came their way. The truth had to come out, and she would do whatever it took to make that happen.

The fight for justice was far from over, but with Geto by her side, Miyako felt a glimmer of hope. They would stand together against the corruption within the jujutsu society, and they would not back down until the truth was revealed.
