The storm had finally subsided by the time Miyako Gojo arrived at Tokyo Jujutsu High. The school's grand gates stood tall, framed by wrought-iron spikes that glistened under the dim streetlights. The rain had washed away the usual hustle and bustle, leaving the campus unusually quiet. Only the soft echoes of distant footsteps and the occasional rustling of leaves in the wind broke the stillness.

As Miyako stepped through the gates, she felt a sense of relief mixed with apprehension. It was good to be back within the familiar confines of the school, but the night's events still lingered in her mind. Geto Suguru's unexpected appearance had stirred up old memories, memories she would rather leave buried. But she couldn't afford to dwell on the past when there was so much work to be done.

The main building loomed ahead, its large windows aglow with light. Miyako made her way down the corridor, nodding to a few fellow sorcerers who were still up late, discussing missions and recent cursed spirit sightings. The sense of urgency among them was palpable; everyone knew that the threat from Geto's group was growing.

Miyako reached the end of the corridor and entered a spaci ous meeting room, where Gojo Satoru stood by the window, his back turned to her. He wore his usual black outfit and blindfold, his hair as white as freshly fallen snow. Despite his relaxed stance, Miyako could sense the tension in his shoulders.

"You're late," he said without turning around.

Miyako rolled her eyes. "I was busy dealing with a cursed spirit. And I had an unexpected run-in with Suguru. I believe I told you that already"

Gojo turned to face her, a faint smirk on his lips. "So, what happened then? Did he give you trouble?"

Miyako shrugged, trying to keep her voice light. "Not really. He just has a lot to say about why he's doing what he's doing. It's like he's trying to justify his actions."

Gojo's smirk faded, replaced by a more serious expression. "Suguru always had a way with words. But his ideals have taken him down a dark path. We need to be careful."

Miyako nodded, feeling the weight of her brother's words. She had grown up alongside Gojo Satoru, trained with him, and learned from him. But even with their strong bond, the shadow of Suguru's betrayal had changed things. It was a reminder that even the closest of friends could become enemies.

"We can't ignore him, Satoru," she said, crossing her arms. "His group is getting more organized, and they're targeting high-level sorcerers. If we don't act soon, it could get out of control."

Gojo leaned against the window, his blindfolded gaze directed toward the darkened training grounds. "I know. But we need to be smart about this. Suguru isn't someone we can take down easily. He's powerful, and he has allies who believe in his cause."

Miyako felt a surge of frustration. "Then what do we do? Just sit back and wait for him to strike? We can't let him gain the upper hand."

Gojo shook his head. "No, we don't wait. But we need to gather more information. Find out who his allies are, what their goals are, and where they might strike next. We can't afford to rush in without a plan."

Miyako knew her brother was right, but it didn't make the waiting any easier. The sense of urgency that had driven her to track down the cursed spirit earlier was now fueling her impatience. She wanted to act, to do something to stop Suguru before he caused more harm.

Gojo seemed to sense her frustration. He stepped forward and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Miyako, I know you want to help, but you need to be careful. Suguru is dangerous, and I don't want to see you get hurt."

Miyako appreciated her brother's concern, but she also knew that she couldn't back down from the fight. "I can handle it, Satoru. You know that."

Gojo nodded, a hint of pride in his voice. "I know you can. But promise me you'll be careful. If anything happens to you, I—"

He didn't finish the sentence, but Miyako understood. Gojo Satoru was the strongest jujutsu sorcerer, but he wasn't invincible. Losing his sister would be a blow he might not recover from. She smiled, trying to lighten the mood. "Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to me. I've got you to look out for me, right?"

Gojo chuckled, the tension easing slightly. "Yeah, you've got me. Just remember, we're in this together. We'll figure out a way to stop Suguru and his group. But we need to do it smartly."

Miyako nodded, feeling a renewed sense of determination. "Right. So what's the plan?"

Gojo explained that they needed to gather information on Suguru's group and their recent activities. He suggested splitting up to cover more ground—Miyako would focus on gathering intel from the sorcerers who had encountered Suguru's allies, while Gojo would investigate potential targets and areas of interest.

Miyako agreed, knowing that teamwork was crucial in times like these. As she left the meeting room, the weight of expectation settled on her shoulders. She was a Gojo, and that came with certain responsibilities. But she was also her own person, determined to make a difference in the jujutsu world.

The night was growing late, and the storm had all but disappeared. The city was still as if waiting for something to happen. Miyako knew that the coming days would be challenging, filled with uncertainty and danger. But she was ready to face whatever came her way.

As she walked through the quiet corridors of Tokyo Jujutsu High, she couldn't help but think of Suguru and the choices he had made. They had once been friends, but now they were on opposite sides of a conflict that threatened to consume everything they held dear. Miyako knew she couldn't let her feelings cloud her judgment—she had a job to do, and she would do it, no matter what.
