The moon hung high in the sky, its silvery light filtering through the dense canopy of trees, casting an ethereal glow on the forest floor. Miyako moved silently, her heart pounding with a mix of fear and determination. The higher-ups' plan to eliminate the "uncontrollable" sorcerers was set to take place in this secluded forest on the outskirts of the city. She had to act fast.

Miyako slipped through the shadows, her mind racing with the details of the mission she had discovered. Every coordinate, every potential obstacle, was etched into her memory. The higher-ups had chosen this location for its seclusion, believing it would keep their actions hidden from prying eyes.

As she navigated through the dense trees, the cool night air brushed against her skin, and the rustling of leaves provided a haunting soundtrack to her journey. Her senses were on high alert, every sound and movement scrutinized for potential danger. She knew that saving these sorcerers would put her at great risk, but she couldn't stand by and let innocent lives be taken.

The forest was eerily quiet as Miyako approached the clearing where the attack was set to take place. She crouched behind a large tree, her breath shallow and controlled, as she observed the scene before her. The "uncontrollable" sorcerers were gathered around a small fire, their faces illuminated by its flickering light. They were unaware of the danger lurking in the darkness.

Miyako's heart clenched with fear, but she forced herself to stay calm. She had to think strategically, use her skills to create a diversion. She closed her eyes for a moment, focusing on her shadow manipulation quirk. With a deep breath, she extended her influence, causing the shadows around the clearing to flicker and dance in the opposite direction.

The attacking sorcerers, who had been lying in wait, turned their attention to the disturbance. Their movements were swift and precise, but Miyako had anticipated this. She used the opportunity to dart towards the group by the fire, her presence concealed by the shadows.

"We need to move, now!" she whispered urgently as she reached the sorcerers.

The sorcerers looked at her in confusion and suspicion. "Who are you?" one of them demanded, his eyes narrowing.

"There's no time to explain," Miyako insisted, her voice low but firm. "You're in danger. The higher-ups have sent a team to eliminate you. Follow me if you want to live."

The sorcerers hesitated for a moment, their mistrust evident. But the urgency in Miyako's voice and the flickering shadows around them convinced them to act. They quickly gathered their belongings and followed Miyako into the forest, moving swiftly and silently.

As they fled, Miyako led them through a series of twists and turns, using her knowledge of the terrain to avoid detection. The forest seemed to close in around them, the trees standing as silent sentinels to their escape. The sound of their footsteps was muffled by the thick undergrowth, and Miyako's heart pounded with the effort of keeping them safe.

Hours later, they had managed to find a safe spot, far from the original clearing. The sorcerers were exhausted and wary, but alive. Miyako took a deep breath, feeling a small sense of relief. She knew their journey was far from over, but for now, they were safe.

"Why were you there?" one of the sorcerers asked, his tone sceptical. "How did you know about the attack?"

Miyako had anticipated this question. She had prepared a plausible story to protect herself. "I overheard the higher-ups discussing the mission," she explained, her voice steady. "I knew I had to act quickly to warn you. If they find out what I did, my life will be in danger too."

The sorcerers exchanged glances, their suspicion easing slightly. "Thank you," another sorcerer said, his voice filled with gratitude. "You saved our lives."

Miyako nodded, but her mind was already racing with the next steps. She needed to return to Jujutsu High before her absence was noticed. The higher-ups would undoubtedly become suspicious, but she couldn't let that deter her. She had to be careful, strategic, and above all, she had to maintain her cover.

As dawn broke, casting a pale light over the forest, Miyako made her way back to Jujutsu High. She moved silently, her senses alert for any signs of pursuit. Her thoughts were a whirlwind of plans and contingencies. She knew the higher-ups would be looking for any excuse to question her actions.

When she finally reached the school grounds, she slipped into her quarters just as the first light of day crept over the horizon. She changed into regular clothes, trying to act as though nothing unusual had happened. Her heart pounded in her chest, but she forced herself to stay calm.

Later that day, she was summoned by the higher-ups. They inquired about her whereabouts the previous night, their gazes piercing and suspicious.

"I went out for some fresh air," Miyako said calmly, meeting their eyes with a steady gaze. "I needed time to clear my head after everything that's been happening."

One of the higher-ups narrowed his eyes, studying her closely. "And you chose to wander into a secluded forest in the middle of the night?"

Miyako maintained her composure, her expression sincere. "I find the forest peaceful. It helps me think. I had no idea it would be considered suspicious."

The higher-ups exchanged glances, their suspicion not entirely assuaged. "Be careful, Miyako," one of them said, his tone warning. "These are dangerous times. We can't afford any misunderstandings."

Miyako nodded, her face a mask of sincerity. "I understand. I'll be more careful."

As she left the meeting, Miyako couldn't shake the feeling that their doubts about her were growing. She had managed to deflect their suspicion for now, but she knew it wouldn't be long before they started digging deeper. She had to be even more cautious, even more vigilant.

That evening, Miyako slipped away to meet Geto. She needed to discuss what had happened and plan their next move. When she arrived at their hidden meeting spot, Geto was already there, waiting.

"You did it," he said, a hint of admiration in his voice. "You saved them."

Miyako nodded, her expression serious. "But the higher-ups are getting suspicious. We need to be even more careful from now on."

Geto agreed, his eyes dark with determination. "We'll keep gathering evidence, and we'll expose them. But we need to stay one step ahead."

As they continued to plan their next steps, Miyako couldn't shake the feeling that the real battle was just beginning. The higher-ups were powerful and ruthless, but she and Geto were determined to fight for what was right.
