Miyako stood at the edge of the clearing, her heart pounding in her chest. The moon cast an eerie glow over the forest, casting long shadows that seemed to dance with every rustle of the wind. She took a deep breath, steeling herself before stepping forward into the moonlit clearing where Geto awaited.

"Suguru," she called softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

He turned to face her, his expression neutral but his eyes reflecting a mix of curiosity and concern. "Miyako. You look troubled."

She nodded, walking closer until she stood beside him. "Satoru is starting to doubt me. It's only a matter of days before he and the higher-ups connect the dots."

Geto's expression hardened. "I expected as much. Satoru is sharp, and the higher-ups are not easily fooled. We need to act quickly."

Miyako's mind raced with the implications of their conversation. She had known that her double life would catch up with her eventually, but she hadn't anticipated it happening so soon. "What do we do?"

Geto paused, thinking carefully. "We need to accelerate our plans. The evidence we've gathered needs to be revealed before they can silence you. But more importantly, we need to ensure your safety."

Miyako felt a pang of guilt. She had always been the one to look out for others, but now she was the one being protected. "I don't want to put anyone else in danger."

Geto's gaze softened slightly. "Miyako, this isn't just about you. It's about exposing the truth and bringing about change. We're all in this together."

She nodded, feeling a mix of determination and apprehension. "Alright. What's the next step?"

Geto led her to a fallen log where they both sat. He pulled out a small notebook and began to sketch out a plan. "We need to make the higher-ups' corruption public. We'll use the evidence we've collected to expose them. But we'll need to be careful. If they realize what we're doing, they'll come after us with everything they have."

Miyako studied the notebook, her mind already working through the logistics. "We'll need a secure way to disseminate the information. Somewhere they can't easily reach or shut down."

Geto nodded. "I have some contacts who can help with that. But we also need to consider our immediate safety. If Satoru is already suspicious, we need to throw him off the trail."

A thought struck Miyako. "What if we stage a fake confrontation? Something that makes it look like I've been investigating you without knowing the full truth. It could buy us some time."

Geto considered this for a moment, then nodded. "That could work. But it will need to be convincing. Satoru knows you well, and he's not easily deceived."

Miyako felt a surge of determination. "I'll make it convincing. I just need to know what to say."

---

The following day, Miyako returned to Jujutsu High with a renewed sense of purpose. She moved through the halls, keeping a low profile but noting every detail, every interaction. She needed to act normal, to blend in while preparing for the confrontation.

During lunch, she spotted Satoru sitting alone in the courtyard. Taking a deep breath, she approached him, her mind already rehearsing the lines she would need to say.

"Satoru," she called, forcing a casual tone.

He looked up, his expression guarded. "Miyako. What's up?"

She sat beside him, her heart racing. "I need to talk to you about something. It's... about Suguru."

Satoru's eyes narrowed slightly. "What about him?"

Miyako took a deep breath, preparing herself. "I've been investigating him. I didn't want to say anything until I had more concrete evidence, but... I think he's up to something. Something big."

Satoru's expression shifted, a mix of surprise and suspicion. "You've been investigating Suguru? Why didn't you tell me?"

She looked down, feigning guilt. "I didn't want to worry you until I had more proof. But now, with everything that's been happening, I think we need to act."

Satoru studied her for a moment, then nodded slowly. "Alright. What do you have so far?"

Miyako pulled out a few documents she had taken from Geto's stash, carefully selecting the ones that would paint a partial picture. "These are some of the things I've found. They're not definitive, but they suggest he's been involved in some... questionable activities."

Satoru took the documents, his eyes scanning the pages. "This is serious, Miyako. If what you're saying is true, we need to inform the higher-ups."

Miyako nodded, her heart pounding. "I know. But we need to be careful. If Suguru realizes we're onto him, he might retaliate."

Satoru's gaze hardened. "Leave that to me. I'll make sure the higher-ups know, but we'll need to move quickly."

As they continued to discuss their plans, Miyako felt a mixture of relief and apprehension. She had bought herself some time, but the stakes were higher than ever. She would need to be careful, to balance the thin line between truth and deception.

---

That evening, Miyako met with Geto again, informing him of the day's events. "Satoru bought the story, but we need to move quickly. He'll inform the higher-ups, and they'll start investigating soon."

Geto nodded, his expression serious. "We'll need to accelerate our plans. The information needs to be released as soon as possible. I've already contacted my associates. They'll help us disseminate the evidence."

Miyako felt a sense of urgency. "What can I do to help?"

Geto handed her a small flash drive. "This contains all the evidence we've collected. We need to get this to my contact in the city. Can you do that?"

She nodded, taking the flash drive and slipping it into her pocket. "I'll do it tonight."

Geto placed a hand on her shoulder, his gaze steady. "Be careful, Miyako. This is dangerous territory, and we're all at risk."

She nodded, feeling the weight of responsibility. "I will." She turned to leave, but stopped mid-tracks to look at him, "And Suguru? I know I don't always mention it, but...thank you."

He gave her a small, reassuring smile. "As I always say, you're not alone. Whatever happens, we're in it together."

As Miyako left the clearing and made her way towards the city, she couldn't shake the feeling of eyes watching her. The higher-ups' suspicion was growing, and Satoru's concern was a constant weight on her mind. But she knew she had to keep moving forward.

The path ahead was uncertain, filled with danger and deception. But Miyako was determined to see it through. For her brother, for her friends, and for the truth that had been buried for too long.

And as she walked, she felt a spark of hope. Despite the darkness that surrounded her, she knew she was not alone. Together, they would fight for a better future, no matter the cost.
