Kaeya whistled to himself as he walked. He had agreed to meet the new traveller at the Anemo archon statue for a "tour" as he had called it. As he approached he saw the white haired traveller already standing there. How punctual.

He turned at the sound of Kaeya's and looked up, a placid smile on his face. 'Where to first?'

Hmm, direct, very direct.

He flashed the traveller a languid smile 'perhaps something monsdadt isn't well known for? Everywhere has taverns, plus you hardly need a tour to find those or the cathedral, how about something more..secret?'.

The traveller shrugged, seeming to mull it over before nodding 'Why not? you're right in saying I could explore the other places without much assistance. Kaeya smirked. 'Perfect' he purred 'follow me'.

This man fascinated Kaeya, there was something dark about him, he could sense it beneath the layers of fabricated innocence. As someone with his own fair share of dark secrets he was no amateur at spotting when others had something hidden. He normally wouldn't care, he was charming enough to be nominated top pick for grandson without ever doing any digging. However he was Calvary captain and Jean had a lot on her plate, he would make sure no other unwanted distractions popped up...it may also finally get her off his back about a promotion if she thought he was running around Mondstadt avoiding work.

Jean had been nagging at him for weeks, even calling in Lisa to attempt to persuade him.

'You do better work than most of our captains combined, this opportunity will allow you to grow to your full potential' she had insisted as he stared, bored, out the window. Lisa had laughed at his uncaring state as an exasperated Jean had waved her arms around wildly.

'I don't get you Kaeya, you could be so much more!'

He had rolled his eyes, his face a picture of boredom.

'Kaeya are you listening! I'm still your boss you know? no matter what you think, you should listen, Kaeya? Kaeya! Kaeya there is NOTHING interesting about cider lake you turn around this instant!  stop looking out that window and pay attention...KAEYA!' he had turned to see Jean bright red in the face as Lisa doubled over with laughter, Jean attempted to silence her with a glare before folding her arms crossly. Kaeya sighed and rose to lean against his work table. He fixed his smile back into place and switched on his charm. 'Jean..' he barely got a word out before Jean held up a hand to silence him.

'I won't argue with you, you're too good with your words you'll just back me into a corner and get your way, you won't budge I can tell...just..know that when you want to grow and reach your potential my office door is open' Kaeya watched her rub her temples with a lazy smirk.

'I know'

Jean walked out the room muttering. Lisa surveyed him for a moment before turning to follow, shaking her head in amusement when he threw her a wink.

'Stormbearer point' Kaeya announced, he watched as Kazuha surveyed the landscape. 'Its beautiful' he remarked. Kaeya laughed 'oh no we aren't here for that, do you have a wind glider?' Kazuha nodded in confusion and then yelled out when Kaeya pushed him.

Pushed him off a cliff.

He screamed.

There was an excited laugh in his ear, he turned and saw Kaeya falling with him, both of them tumbled to the rocks below. 'WHAT THE FUCK' Kazuha screamed, Kaeya just laughed back 'I forgot to ask, you know how to use a wind glider right?' Kazuha stared at him in utter disbelief
