The sun had ascended over the horizon, waking up the city in an adagio.

By the time you were fresh out of the shower, the room was illuminated, attributed to the drapes you had pulled apart not long before.

Golden rays filled the room by leaps and bounds as you fastened the satin robe around your waist, and continued to dry your hair with a towel.

Sparing a glance at the morning sky, you returned to Shubman who still appeared to be sleeping under the covers, face first on the pillow.

Like a big baby. What you said.

You stood beside the edge of the bed, running your fingers through his hair and stared at his closed eyelids.

Beneath them lay your galaxy. They told you what words never could.

A small smile took over your lips, and you bent down, placing a kiss on his cheek like the morning breeze against leaves.

When you straightened yourself and were about to leave, however, a hand wrapped around your forearm, pulling you to the bed.

It caught you just slightly by surprise, before you felt kisses being planted on your neck.

"Well, good morning," you said as Shubman now laid on top of you, his arms at either side of your waist.

"It's a great morning," he mumbled, his kisses trailing up to your cheek. "How did you slip out of my arms so early?"

He moved his head to look at you, pecking your lips.

"It's not that difficult," you answered, wrapping your arms around his neck. "Just one kiss to your cheek and you're gone like Alice falling down the rabbit hole to Wonderland."

Shubman's hands ruffled the black robe over your hips, proceeding to kiss your neck, still wet with shower droplets, again.

"Alright, tell me now," you said as his fingers trailed to your knees, right above where the robe ended. "How am I supposed to hide this?"

You pointed to the hickey on your jaw and he raised his head up to look at you.

"It's gotten lighter, baby," he caressed the bruise a little and kissed it. "I have an idea. Why don't we discuss this after we give you another one? Just to compare the magnitude, you know."

"So that we don't get out of bed for the whole day?" You asked while he untied your robe. "No, thank you. We both got work to do."

"But we don't have to go, honey," Shubman said, pulling the material over your chest apart slowly, kissing it.

"Yes, we do," you replied, feeling his bare chest against yours, and tightened your arms around him.

Placing a kiss on his lips, you pushed him away by his shoulders, getting off the bed.

"Up, sleeping beauty," you said before heading towards the closet.

Shubman laid on his back, smiling as he watched you walk away, still able to feel your washed hair against his neck.

Another happy day. Or so you thought.

"But strawberry is not actually a berry," Ishan stated while you sat across him on the couch.

The best friends had been talking about strawberries when you walked, with Brownie following behind.

Seemingly, the conversation was about strawberries being an aggregate fruit and not a berry. When it actually was about this person they had buried in a strawberry farm.
