Groggy that's how I felt waking up in my own sweat, laying on a bed in an unrecognizable room. A shiver ran down my spine as cold air swept in from somewhere. I found myself curling up into a ball trying my best to not feel as cold as I did, it was of no used. The wind instead hit my back directly causing me to shiver even more.

Exhaustion prevented me from finding the source and blocking it completely. I held my knees to my chest tightly, my eyes pressing close as the slight stinging sensation in my neck became the reminder of what had happened, it all came back vividly causing me to immediately grow even more nauseous.

Before I knew it I was on my feet, extreme dizziness washing over me almost causing me to fall, as I quickly grabbed the closest door to myself hoping it was a bathroom. The door swung open and immediately I rushed to the toilet, thanking God that indeed it was what I thought. I found myself on the floor in seconds hunched over the toilet as I puked the contents of my stomach out, painfully, the back of my throat burned and I barely got to catch a breath before I was throwing up all over again.

My skin felt even more cold and the shivering intensified tremendously until I stopped puking and sat with my back against the wall, beads of sweat coating my forehead. Breath, just breath, the words echoed in my head as I repeated it over and over.

I'm alone, no one's here, you're here alone Amara. Just breathe.

"I'm alone,"

I let out a much needed breath before sucking in and ignoring the bitter taste. Reaching up I flushed the toilet before slowly and cautiously getting up to stand. I did my best to wash my face and mouth at the sink, the dizziness was getting in my way but I made sure to get the job done before moving off.

I took cautious steps on my way out of there, placing one hand on the wall to steady myself. Once I reached the bed, I collapsed onto it, my arms a makeshift pillow.

An hour or so later I woke up again with a pounding headache and a slight dizziness. The dizziness went away after I just layed on the bed and stared at the ceiling fan but the head ache stayed.

After what felt like another hour I slowly sat up and looked around. The first thing my eyes caught was the water bottle and tablets on the nightstand. It might be for my good but I was still skeptical. What if they drugged it?

I ignored it and instead focused on the decor of the room. The headache would go away sooner or later.

The room was the perfect mix of old fashioned and modern, both sprinkled all throughout the place on every corner my eyes could reach to tell. Art pieces hung from the wall varying from sizes, seemingly perfectly organized in corners they didn't seem out of place. They went perfect with the color team of the room which was a captivating color of sage green that wrapped around the engraved designs on the wall giving it a very vintage outlook.
