"Are you saying that Lucia Jones is in the prison hospital?" I asked straightforwardly. Mr. Islwyn and Mr. Evander are calm now, and we are all here to talk about this crucial topic.

"Someone put her there after the war happened and declared her in a coma," Mr. Islwyn explained, his voice steady. "Someone is helping her," he added.

"What's her condition right now? Is she..."

"Is she awake now?" Mr. Islwyn continued, finishing what I was going to say. "She's still in a coma," he reaffirmed.

"Are you sure about that? You've already mentioned that someone is helping her. Isn't it you?" I arched an eyebrow, which made him, and his brother laughed. I was just asking, but it seemed like both of them didn't like what I had say.

"I understand your suspicion, Mrs. Yamaguchi." Mr. Evander interjected. "But if someone is helping her, it's not us."

"Who then? She's your stepmother. You grew up with her. So, I wouldn't be surprised if you're the one hiding her." I said firmly. Mr. Islwynn chuckled as he clenched his jaw.

"Isn't it obvious yet? I thought you were smart, but..." He laughed sarcastically and shrugged.

I could feel the tension in the room rising as we stared each other down.

"Don Timothy. Is he?" This time it was Hiroki who interjected, his voice calm yet firm.

"What would be Lucia Jones's connection to Dad? And why is he helping her?" Theron also asked.

"Lucia Jones and Don Timothy joined forces even before he married Dad to bring him down. Lucia Jones seeks revenge, and Don Timothy aims to gain power," Mr. Islwynn said. "That's the reason they're still helping each other until now."

"But why until now? That old man already got what he wanted, so why didn't he just let Lucia die?" I asked, feeling confused about what was happening. "Unless they have a relationship?" I answered my own question, but I wasn't sure either.

Mr. Evander nodded thoughtfully. "It's possible. Don Timothy is a man of many secrets. His motives aren't always transparent, but one thing is certain, he's always planning ahead."

"We need more information. There's a deeper connection between Lucia and Don Timothy that we haven't unraveled yet, including your true intentions, Mr. and Mrs. Yamaguchi," Mr. Islwynn said, directing his stare at me and Hiroki.

"One day, you'll understand too. But right now, we're not your enemies, and we have the same goal." I gave them a smile, then a serious look. "At this moment, we can't afford to underestimate either of them. If they've been working together for this long, there's more at stake than we realize."

"What's your plan?" Camille asked.

"We need to know if Lucia Jones is still in a coma or if she has already woken up." My expression darkened.

"We have our men inside the prison hospital, keeping an eye on Lucia Jones," Mr. Evander said. "He's the one who always updates us on Lucia's condition, and in his last call, he confirmed that Lucia still hasn't woken up."

"Well, I don't trust information through calls, Mr. Evander. Maybe your men is already working for Don Timothy and giving you fake updates."

"So, what are you trying to imply here, Mrs. Yamaguchi?" Mr. Islwynn asked, clearly running out of patience with me.

"I'll go there myself because I want to see with my own eyes that she's still in a coma."

"Then, are you going to kill her?" I laughed at what Mr. Evander asked. Does it look like it was my plan to kill someone who can't fight back?
