"Today is Donya Harake's birthday." Hiroki reminded me about the old woman's birthday. Why does it seem like everyone's having birthdays these past few days?

"Give her a bouquet of flowers," I looked at Milo to handle it.

"What kind of flowers, Oyabun?" He asked.

(Translation: Boss.)

"Give her a funeral flower."

"Hey?" Hiroki reacted.

"What? She'll be dead soon. I'm just advancing my condolences. At least she knows that I'm sympathize her death." I said and rolled my eyes.

While we were peacefully eating our breakfast, my mood suddenly changed when Mr. Lim arrived with a full smile on his lips, clearly in a good mood. Well, he's like that if he did something wrong or failed. I know what will happen next.

"Could you give me another chance... please? I promise, I'll do better next time." As I expected, that's his usual line. Is there something new?

When he smiled even more, I just looked down at my food and continued eating. I left it to Hiroki to decide what to do with this kid. I know he won't be too harsh. Like we always say, this kid needs to learn a lot. I'm confident he'll still improve.

Hiroki gave him a deadly stare, and Mr. Lim's smile suddenly faded from his lips as he realized that his one and only mission last night had failed. He looked down and spoke again while playing with his hands.

"I'm sorry..." he said softly.

"Did you already eat?" He looked up at Hiroki, surprised by what he said. I just chuckled slightly, already expecting it.

"Why don't you sit and join us for breakfast?" I invited him with a small smile.

"May I?" He couldn't believe it. I just nodded, signaling him to sit already. "Arigato gozaimasu!" He even bowed deeply. In fairness, he's improving in speaking Japanese. Hiroki and I advised him to learn different languages, which will benefit him in future endeavors.

When he sat and started to eat, I stopped myself from laughing as he struggled to use the chopsticks properly and watched us to learn how. Mr. Lim, this kid, needs someone to guide him because he has potential. He's also not the type of person to give up easily.

Hiroki and I gathered everyone in the backyard of the mansion to prepare them. We have two agendas for today. This afternoon, we have a lunch meeting with Mr. Islwynn Fierro and Mr. Evander Fierro. In the evening, we have an underground transaction with the Hernandez Organization. As soon as we finish the meeting, we need to leave immediately because the meetup place for the underground transaction is in Batangas.

Milo and his team are coming with us to the meeting, while Owen and his team will stay here to prepare for the underground transaction later. They will leave first, and we will just follow afterward.

"I don't want any disappointment anymore, Mr. Lim," I reminded him before getting out of the car. We were already in front of the Familia Fierro company.

"Karera wa watashitachi o koko ni kangei shiyou to moshimasendeshita. Shitsureidesu ne." Hiroki commented as only their personal secretaries welcomed us downstairs.

(Translation: They didn't even bother to welcome us here. How rude.)

"Tabun karera wa isogashīdesu. Karera no ofisu de aimashou." I said and held him by the arm.

(Translation: Maybe they're busy. Let's just meet them in their office.)

Well, the Fierro brothers' personal secretaries assisted us as soon as we entered their office. Unfortunately, they are currently in a meeting. They informed us that it was an emergency meeting, so we have to wait a little longer. It's just disappointing that it coincided with our schedule.
