Chapter 56

War at the arena?

Sounds interesting.

Everyone started to move as soon as we found out where Don Timothy was hiding. Every second was important, especially now that I knew he was aware that his right-hand man was in our hands. From the Yamaguchi, Los Royales, Cassano Organization, Familia Fierro, Jones Cartel, and Voyager Organization, everyone is gathered and involved in hunting down the leader of the Hernandez Organization and all its allies. No one will be left behind. Every group worked together, using their resources and men to ensure that this war would end in victory.

I will make sure that this time, we never lose again. I will make sure to end this war exactly as I want and plan.

The arena that Mr. William was referring to was an old one, once owned by a well-known politician. After the politician was imprisoned, the arena fell into disuse and was left abandoned. Now, it had been illegally taken over by Don Timothy, who had repurposed it as his hiding spot. The once grand venue had become a key location for Don Timothy's secret activities.

The Yamaguchi entered the arena, with all of us using the main entrance, with Hiroki and me leading the way. Inside, the arena was dark, with only the center of the field lit up. The edges were in shadow, making the place look empty and eerie. The dark sides of the arena added to the tense atmosphere as we moved forward.

It may have been quiet, but I could sense their presence, watching us clearly from the darkness. At any moment, they could come out from the dark and open fire on us, turning the quiet into a deadly confrontation.

"Bakit hindi niyo pa ako pinakakawalan?! You told me that you'd let me go once I told you where he was hiding!" I turned around to face Mr. William and raised an eyebrow.

"I only said I'd bring you here, but I don't remember saying I'd set you free," I replied firmly.

He chuckled. "Then die."

He's now confident because he knows Don Timothy is here.

After that short confrontation, I immediately pointed a gun at Mr. William, as well as Hiroki and the entire Yamaguchi. At the same moment, the lights came on. As expected, Don Timothy's men and allies pointed their guns at us from the bleachers, surrounding us from all sides. But they were shocked to realize that all the organizations under Yamaguchi had also surrounded them from the higher bleachers, catching them off guard.

"When I die, you die too," I said to Mr. William, making it clear that I wasn't afraid to die because I had already faced death once before. "Just think about how many bullets will hit you if you don't do anything," I added with a smirk.

"Lower your guns," he shouted, ordering his men from the Hernandez Organization and their allies. He was afraid of what would happen to him. Nakakatawa.

"At the moment, we can't see Don Timothy," Boris reported from above, speaking into a wireless earpiece.

"It seems that he's not here, Madam," Berlin added.

"He's here, I can feel it. Maybe he's pretending to be one of his men and hiding." I said.

"What should we do if we see him?" Blaze asked.

"Kill him," I ordered without hesitation, keeping my eyes on Mr. William. He will not escape me.

The men from the Hernandez Organization whom he had instructed to lower their guns did not follow his orders. Instead, they stayed in their positions, keeping their guns pointing directly at us. Despite his clear command, they remained firm, showing no sign of following his request. He may be Don Timothy's right-hand man, but Don Timothy is still the boss. No matter how influential or trusted he is, the ultimate authority and decision-making power rest with Don Timothy. That's why I know that old man is clearly inside the arena too, watching us all. And that's what I need to find out—where he's hiding.
