Breaking Alphys barrier was the hardest part, with all the lazers she'd set and the electricity balls, and Mettaton's weapons firing at him. But with his dad's bone attack, everything was possible. He destroyed the machines that built the barrier up and broke Alphys toys. The lizard was so shocked by her failure that she collapsed to the ground. No, it wasn't shock... it was fear. Alphys was just trying to conceal it. "Uh, hey, Alphys..." Astigma started, but Alphys snapped at him. "D-don't talk to me, filthy human! Y-you don't know w-what you've done, w-what he will d-do to you... to m-me..." She growled out before getting up to leave. "King Asgore will make you wish you were never born..." Alphys left Astigma on that cheerful note, and the human flopped back with an exhausted yawn. He needed some sleep, but first... he started to push Mettaton's disconnected torso to his legs. "D-darling..? Is that you? I am glad to see you're alive..!" Mettaton regained consciousness not long after. "Still kicking..." Astigma grunted as he pushed and shoved at the metal. After a lot of hard work, he was finally able to reconnect the two.

The head was still heavy but a lot easier to handle. Once Mettaton was reassembled, he gave Astigma his autograph and a free night at his hotel/resort thingy. Astigma was more than happy for the reprieve and even got a free meal to heal up all his injuries. Once he was out, there was no waking him, either. Not even the knowledge that his parents were coming for him. Nothing would have prepared you or Papyrus for the changes that would come with your some trapezing through the Underground. Knowing how this place was, you feared the worst of finding his dead body in the woods, soul stolen, and shipped off to Asgore's castle. Instead, the monsters were... helpful. ("A human?") Dogaressa approached you, and Papyrus immediately intercepted her, ready to kill her. ("Are you the mother to that nice young boy? You should hurry. Last I heard, he was headed to Waterfall!") She warned before she and Dogamy headed to Grillby's. It was unexpected. None of the monsters in Snowdin seemed interested in killing them... or killing anyone at all. "How Peculiar..." Papyrus commented but didn't dwell on it. There was no time, and Undyne was certainly going to kill him.

Only... Waterfall was no different from Snowdin. The monsters seemed passive and Undyne? She practically greeted them at the door. "I knew you dorks would be coming after your brat. That little punk is a real fighter, you know. He's probably gonna get through Hotland in no time! Which means ya gotta be quick on your feet!" Papyrus kinda blinked stupidly at her. "Astigma... Made It Into Hotland." Undyne gave him a wicked grin and nodded. "Yeah!" You had no patience for this. Astigma may have done ok so far, but he was still in danger, despite his apparent effect on the Underground. (You were proud of him, truly. You never could have changed the views of the ENTIRE Underground.) "What are we waiting for? Let's fucking go get our son!" You interrupted the Captains from their chat and started straight for Hotland. "Now I see where the brat gets it from!" She laughed as she followed after you, and Papyrus wasn't far behind. "Hold On, Astigma... We Are Coming..." He worried that losing Astigma would have a terrible effect on your mental health. He knew it would kill him on the inside if the worst was to happen.
