New Home felt... empty. The streets were empty, the lights in the homes and shops were out... it was a ghost town. Yet, Astigma could still feel eyes on him. He could feel the bloodlust of the hiding town despite being unable to see them. They probably knew what was coming. They probably already saw him as a dead man walking. Astigma didn't care, though. He was gonna break the fucking barrier for his brother. He was determined to. He entered the tunnel leading to the castle's entrance. The indoors were parallel to Granny Tiriel's house with the living room, kitchen, and bedroom placements. Downstairs, though, that led to an overview of the city. Astigma took a moment there to see how far he'd come. Anton would be able to see the surface soon. All he had to do was follow the path and fight the king. He would try to live, as he had done with all the other monsters. Simply for the sake of his family who loved him. If he died, though... well, at least they would see the surface with Anton. Astigma steeled himself and checked his inventory to see if he had enough food to heal before he continued his journey.

Astigma walked down an echoing golden corridor and into another winding hallway. There were two paths to take. One led to a room of flowers, and the other led to... well, Astigma wasn't sure he wanted to know. There was a decaying smell in that direction that told him everything he needed to know. No, he would focus on the flower room. The garden was absolutely beautiful, and the flowers looked soft and springy. He couldn't appreciate them for long, though. In front of him was a throne, after all, and in that throne was the waiting king. Malice glinted in his red and yellow eyes as he smoothed out his black beard. "Nice garden." Astigma reached for his attack, knowing that one way or another, he would have to fight. The king paused in his stroking and stood to his full height. "Come child... prepare for what fate has granted you." That said, Asgore led Astigma to the room behind his throne, a pulsating white space hummed with pure magic. This was it. Asgore initiated a fight and summoned a scythe. Astigma drew out his bone attack, ready for it to begin.

Like Granny, his attacks were mostly fire based. The king seemed to have a special liking of orange and blue attacks whenever he used his scythe, and there were times when Astigma found himself caught up in green attacks like Undyne's and purple attacks like the spider lady, Muffet. Astigma counted himself lucky. Orange and blue attacks were what he knew best, too, when training with his dad. It almost felt like his family had been training him for this very moment as he jumped away from the raging flames and colorful attacks. Asgore was relentless, though, and finding the time to heal some of his HoPe was difficult as he continued to fight and wear the king down through less deadly means. Asgore tried to make him give up, tried to tell him how his people betrayed him, and explained his plan to reset the timeline to before his family was tore apart. As far as Astigma understood, Asgore did that to himself. "Sounds to me like you aren't blameless, king Asgore!" Before Astigma could try to defend against him, Asgore went into a frenzy, slicing him over and over and over again... this was the end... huh..?
