She smile as she look around, she didn't see anything but white but it felt good to literally be in the hands of god. They stopped abruptly as he took in a deep breath
"i think this is a good place to watch from."
"watch?"
As if on cue a large hologram projected screen was placed in front of them, it was fuzzy though. Not a picture to be seen..yet anyway.
"My wife, Mary is great friends with Rex. They play poker and solitaire together all the time, but Rex is great friends with a couple. Mr. and Mrs. InnsBrook, probably because there heaven is nearly the same. They have a thing for boats, like you sunny."
InnsBrook. InnsBrook. Shes heard that name before, she knows for a fact she has heard that name before but for the life of her she couldn't think where.
"The InnsBrook's have three children, very gifted children. The couple has shared with Rex that there three kids found you and the wife, Mrs. InnsBrook begged Rex to talk to the Virgin Mary. She says your compatible and its a god given fact. No pun intended."
Izzy. She instantly thought about Izzy. Elizabeth InnsBrook, child extraordinaire.
"Izzy, Connor and Riley."
"you remember them? great. Well anyway, i can tell from the way that both you and Aubrey acted with them that you two are both very compatible."
"God, i don't know if-"
"they need you Sun'Jai, they need Aubrey as well. They need the two of you more then ever. I know you would love to say screw it and adopt them, but at the same time i know you were scared enough as it was to be having one child, god only knows how hard it is to have more then one. No pun intended."
She laughed lightly as he kept making puns, intended or not they were pretty funny.
"Father, i really don't think Aubrey is ready for three kids though. he was barely ready for one."
"are you kidding me? did you not see how happy that man was when he was around those two boys, and how happy he was to see Izzy the following morning. He kissed her on the cheek, called her a princess. If anything hes more then ready, i think its just you."
"pfft."
She scuffed out, there was no way that it was the other way around. She loved being around those kids, she said herself she was sad that they had to go back home with Tina and George because they didn't deserve such great children. She will admit she was a little scared at first to take on three kids but then she realized who and what she was working with. They weren't just kids, they were three well mannered, respectably gifted kids who were happy to get out of the house. Just going for a ride in the car made them happy, could you imagine how happy they would be if they got to tag along on Aubrey's next tour?
"i took mason from you for a reason. He will always be here when you need him, those children wont. I have even decided to let you keep him, meaning that if one day you and Aubrey decide to have another child, mason will be the seed planted in you. I vow that to you, but i took him for a reason. I brought you here for a reason."
Her heart pounded hard, mason was still hers. He wasn't technically dead because she could bring him back to life again. Was it so possible for this to all be happening? Mason wasn't dead, he was just waiting i guess you could say. And instead of waiting miserably in the gates of heaven he could actual live happily in heaven, with Rex. He put a hand out gesturing for her to look at the screen, she turned and stared straight ahead as he did beside her
"Today. 1152 Woodcrest drive, Clear water Estates."
The screen went from a fuzzy grey to all white, it stayed white and blended in with its surroundings until the screen popped up, on the screen was a photo of Izzys house, well her foster home. She furrowed her eyebrows as he spoke up again
"After you were brought to the hospital, one of the members from the crew was given the address and took the children back to Tina and George. I want to show you why those kids should not have went home.... Kitchen please."
The screen shifted as her heart pounded inside of her chest, she didn't know what to expect but from the sound of his voice it wasn't good. She could see them all lined up in the kitchen, heads held high but a look of hurt in there eyes, she could tell right off the bat that Riley had been crying. Tina pace in front of them as George sit on the sink counter, she stopped in front of Izzy and put a finger in her face
"this is your fault, MAYBE IF YOU WEREN'T SO GOD DAMN WEIRD YOU WOULD BE GONE BY NOW! But oh no, your just so ....ugh. they couldn't drop you off themselves, they had to have a driver drop you off and i don't blame them. You stupid ass kids don't know how to act."
Izzy swallowed and blinked back the tears that threatened to fall out as Tina turn to Connor who stood beside Izzy.
"and you ignorant little boys are so out of control they probably couldn't handle you."
Connor looked down, making the biggest mistake. She raised a hand and smacked him across the face. Hard. Sunny gasp and put a hand to her heart as if Tina had slapped her and not Connor, anger raised inside of her as the visual of Tina hitting him replay in her mind
"LOOK AT ME WHEN IM TALKING TO YOU."
Izzy backed away, a look of rage in her eyes just like sunny. She began to yell out in french something that Sunny didn't understand because she couldn't speak the language.
"NA PAS LE TOUCHER COMME CA OU BEIN!!"
George stood up and went over to Izzy, towering over her. Her legs shook indicating she was nervous, just like sunny. She closed her eyes and looked away not wanting to know what would happen next, it was all to much to watch. The screen cut off and she felt a hand on her shoulder
"I need you to see why these kids need you, i need you too see why this is so important that you are as compatible as you are."
She nodded her head and looked back up to the screen
"Wednesday. 1152 Woodcrest Drive, Clear Water Estates."
The screen repeated the process, she swallowed the lump in her throat awaiting what came next.
"living room please."
The screen shifted to inside of the house in the living room where George was standing, towering over Riley.
"pause please.... This right here is so important for you to understand. This was only five minutes before you arrived to the residence Sunny, only five minutes. You thought everything was peachy keen, you thought George and Tina were great people but this happened five minutes before you arrived."
He returned his gaze back to the screen
"play."
The motions began up again, you could tell from a mile away that Riley was crying, his eyes were enlarged and tears were running down his cheeks like a river. Just that alone broke her heart but to see George wrap his hand around his small neck made her cringe, Riley scream out as George tighten his grip around his neck. Footsteps were heard from in the background and more screaming, it was Izzy.
"LET GO OF HIM, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
She ran up and pushed George's legs, not doing any damage but making him let go of Riley who crumple to the floor like a towel. He lay there trying to catch his breath as George turn and push Izzy to the ground.
"HE HAS ASTHMA, ITS HARD ENOUGH FOR HIM TO BREATHE ON HIS OWN! WHY WOULD YOU CHOKE HI-"
She couldn't get the sentence out of her mouth before a hand was being swatted across her face. A tear fall from her eye as she lay there, George standing over her
"You don't question what im doing. Go to your room Elizabeth and don't come out till mommy says."
"TINA IS NOT MY MOM!"
Another smack, after he hit her again she couldn't take anymore. She had to look away before she threw up, it was to much to see and she couldn't take it. How could they hurt these kids? These perfect amazing kids, how could they even yell at them? let alone hit them. She felt a hand on her shoulder once again and a soft voice to follow it up
"now do you see why it is so important that you are compatible with these kids?"
