Indraprastha was decorated like a new bride. Every corner was lightened with diyas and the pillars with beautiful flowers. Everyone was busy with their works as the last marriage of their family was going to happen in few hours. The guests were arriving while the works were growing.
"Soma, look there! Jyesth has ladoo for you." Prativindya told as the little son of bheem clapped his hands together. The three brothers were playing, again messing their clothes which pissed their mother more.
"You three again increased my work." Draupadi yelled as vrishsen lifted sutsoma in his arms and fearfully looked at his aunt.
"Vindya, vrish! You both are elder to him, why don't you understand this? How many times should I tell you to not trouble me." Her breathes grew faster and she felt tired. Their her husband appeared and held on her calming her down immediately."Sons, go inside and get your clothes changed. Go fast!" The kids ran inside.
"They have gotten on my nerves!" She complained to him like a kid and he heard it while consoling her.
"I told you to rest till the rituals began. After it started we all have to be present there." He said and started leading the way towards their chamber. But she turned it to nakul's.
"I don't have time to rest, maharaj! Nakul has once told me to help him ready on his wedding day. Now I have to complete his wish." She said as they reached his chamber. Nakul smilingly came to them and took their blessings."Bhabhi, I was waiting for you only." He held her hand securely and took her with him leaving the husband behind.
"You bhabhi-devar would forget everyone around." He commented taking his sit beside.
Their nakul was getting pampered with from his sister in law. She did his aarti and then started choosing jewellery for him.
"Look at them. Here we were in hurry and these two have already prepared everything." Kunti said from the door with urvi and maithili. They came and joined yudhishthir. Once nakul was ready as a groom kunti tied rakshasutra on his arm and took away the evil eyes."Is she ready?" He asked and then got teased from his ever serious brother.
"Have patience little brother. Your princess would not run away. Maa take this groom with you or he would die with suspence." They laughed and then proceeded to the mandap. The other brothers met him as they all were so much excited to see his marriage. It was the last marriage of their generation to take place. Nakul took the blessings of his elders. The king and queen of hastinapur, mahamahim bhishma, mahamantri vidur and others.
"Subhadra-arjun, go and bring putri karenumati." They both nodded and went inside. Soon the three arrived.
Nakul was mesmerized by the beauty of his bride. He was lost in her when bheem pinched on his arm. "Don't be so much lost." He shyly lowered his eyes as his bride came and sat beside him. They both shared an eye contact that promises togetherness. He smiled at her which she received with a blush.
"You look beautiful!" He whispered and she felt her cheeks getting red.
"You both forward your right hands." Rajguru said and they did. One by one they performed all the rituals. They completed the pheres. After that again sat down and then he filled her hair with sindoor and kept the chudamani on her head.
"And hence your bachelorhood ends here!" Shadev commented throwing flowers on them. The brothers laughed as their younger brother blushed hard. Kunti reached to them and kissed on their heads.
"Stay happy and together like this!"They took the blessings from their elders and the brothers.
"How beautiful they are looking as bride and groom!" Draupadi said dreamingly. She had wished for a grand marriage of her own with yudhishthir but the circumstances were very different. She couldn't get it as she wished. Yudhishthir noticed the sudden expression changed on her face. He was confused on what she was reacting like that. But decided to ask her later.
