She looked at me across the room with more worrying eyes. Her eyes were exclaiming,
"What's going on here!"
She looked as if I have done the worst of sins. I take an inhale off my cigarette. It was a while since I stopped smoking and by seeing me like this, she should have suspected something was wrong.
I looked back at her, with crystal clear eyes, showing no emotions. I turned my body towards her direction and said,
~" I know what you have been doing all this time Mareika"
I turned my body back to the city. I took a deep breath and then another inhale of my cigarette. What a peaceful night it was. I could felt a small breeze passing through my hair.
There was a moment of nothingness. She was standing at the other side of the living room, her eyes staring at me. She looked confused and lost.
She started to talk again, her tone changed to a more serious one, but was shifted again
" What did you...?''
~" Mareika"
I looked at her, locking my eyes with hers and continued
~"I know about your blog"
Her stare changed drastically from confusing to alarmed and false compassion. My cold persona slowly cracked, letting some of my emotions show. I was sad. I took one last inhale of my cigarette. It felt a little better, but not enough.
