Since the night I confronted her, the blog had not new post, I may say that it was not active at all. I slept on the coach every night and in the morning, I would wake up earlier than her, get ready for the office. As she is taking a shower, I leave for work. I started going for a walk in the morning to get to the office instead of getting the subway all the way.

I still got to the office early, and get the job done. I did more overtime that i used to. When i couldn't do, I went home and go for a jog. I stopped talking to Steve nor anyone at the office anymore. I just talked the necessary.

I am depressed. We ate dinner alone, every night. I subscribed to a gym membership to be able to shower and get my mind away from her, by working out.

I stopped smoking, at least i am trying. My anxiety was still too high for me to stop the nicotine. I slowly kissed the idea that it won't work. The one moment we had, was eating a meal at the end of each table.

I haven't looked at her since, nor muttered a word. I was still too hurt. It was two months already, I started to lose my belly fat and getting some muscles. I read a book on the couch sometimes.

Even though she cheated on me and kept the big secret from me, I still wanted to make it work. She was my wife... I loved her. It felt like forever, when I could hear her talking over the phone or wearing the pair of pajamas that I loved.

After twenty years of living with each other, under the same roof...The silent treatment seemed like an unbearable torture...I was still feeling so betrayed, I Did not know what to do.

The three-month mark arrived, I went back to my hometown for the weekend and came back in the middle of night on Sunday.  It was good to see my parents again, having some quality time. Every time they talked about Mareika , my heart ached, and I just played along saying everything okay.  I needed to think. I needed to get away somewhere I feel safe.

By coincidence my brother Max was back at home after a long trip in Asia. He was happy to see me, and I was delighted to. After such a long time, He changed as I did.  He was the only one i could trust truly now.  After lunch, we went out in the garden to have some brother bonding time without my parents eavesdropping.

~" So how was you trip?"

" It was amazing, I met quite some people, the food, the culture. Somehow, I missed home, so I decided to quit and come back"

~" Please don't tell me that you quit your job? Max!"

" Am Joking...jeezzzz...I came back as I felt nostalgic. I tried to contact you, but you weren't answering your phone...What are you doing those days...you are working out now?"

~" Kind of."

" It is doing wonders to you. You know.... My personal life is quite messy, and coming back felt the best way to let things get down a bit.... you know Jessica..."

~" Oh yea. Your best friend?"

" Not this Jessica.... Jessy..ca"

~" oh, you meant her... What's been up? Are you fine?"

" Well I do better now. Better off alone that with an annoying roommate, right?"

We both laughed.

" I am thinking of moving back here. I got bored working in Asia, bored of Jessyca....I got an attorneyship in Town and I am thinking of opening my own"

~" That's a great idea, Max. You have the experience why not? I am sure you will be the best lawyer around...you already are from the family"

"You are too modest. I am the LAWYER of the situation! What about you, still working at that crappy office?"
