I told her to pack for a trip worth 4 days and to bring her passport, because we will be on the road for a while, but I haven't told her where we are going.
I called into her job, even though she's the boss, telling them where we are going, so that they know she hasn't been kidnapped.
I told my family I'm going away, but I've only told my dad exactly where.
He and my mother really value discretion, but it's not that.
My mother would grill me about my date plan from start to finish to make sure that it's exceptional.
She really wants another daughter in law and she wants one now!
I chuckle at the thought and my thoughts move back to Ziva.
I've been planning this for a week and a half.
I genuinely hope she likes it.
It's a lot.
But she deserves it.
She deserves to be happy and I'm going to make that happen.
I left my cat Brooke with my older sister Aaliyah and my house is spotless.
Just the way I like it.
I grab my suitcase and my jacket, taking one last look in the mirror.

I look good.
I leave my house and lock up, making my way to my car and loading everything up, checking my backseats once again to make sure I have everything I need to make this a comfortable trip for her.
Blankets, snacks, water, neck pillows.
I even made sure I downloaded a bit of everything to my iPad in case she gets bored and wants to watch something.
Once I'm sure, I set off.
I hope she's surprised.
I play music while driving, going over my itinerary for the day in my head.
Before long, I pull up to her apartment building, to see her standing outside and ready to go!
I stop the car and get out, walking up to her and she smiles, seeing me approaching her.
"It's freezing! Why didn't you wait inside?" I ask her, pulling her into a hug and taking her hands.
"I missed you too much to wait" she responds, her voice all soft and looking up at me.
"Look I even got all cute for you!" She exclaims.
I look down at her outfit.
