Ziva Asinobi's POV

My boyfriend, Tobias is on his way over for a date.

I have it all planned out.

I'm gonna cook him a big ass meal that he's not spending anything on.

Then I have a fun activity planned just for us and then I'm going to give him his gift.

I really hope he likes it!

I appreciate our big dates.

But I want to do something small and intimate for him too.

I have set the table for us and I have prepped everything that I plan to cook, some of which is already on the stove.

I've lit some candles and heated up the plates.

I have some soft music in the background and it's not a lot, but I dressed up nice and cozy too.

It seems silly, but I'm nervous!

It seems silly, but I'm nervous!

Tobias said he's bringing wine, so I'll probably use that to loosen up a little bit too.

I've got blankets and pillows set up in the living room for when dinner is over and I've dimmed the lights a little bit to make it more soft and romantic.

The sound of the doorbell cuts me straight out of my thoughts, making me jump!

He's here!

I open the door and my jaw drops and I immediately feel my legs start to give way.

"Tobias, what have you done?!" I gasp, looking up at him.

He gives me a shy smile, rubbing his hand over his head.

"You don't like it?" He asks.

"I do, but why?!" I ask, feeling myself choke on my words.

He's cut all of his beautiful hair!

"What, am I not as sexy with short hair?" He asks, leaning down for a kiss.

I kiss him back, the smell of aftershave and cocoa butter wrapping me in a handsy hug.

He continues to kiss me, walking into my apartment and closing the door after him.

He puts his hands on my neck and I screech, pulling away.

"You're freezing!" I say, grabbing his hands and rubbing them.

"I'll warm up" he responds.

He pulls away first and goes to pick up the flowers he dropped on his way in.
