Good Morning, My Fellow Kings, and Queens

May you all have a wonderful and blessed day as God guides your steps, renews your mind, strengthens your spirit, and replenishes your strength as you go about your day from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. On this blessed day that God has blessed us with which coincidentally falls on the 4th of July, so Happy 4th of July everyone!

But anywho the topic of today's segment centers around lukewarmness. Now, before we jump into what lukewarmness is, how it is portrayed in modern society, and why it is so important you are not lukewarm. We must first understand what it is, lukewarm biblically means neither hot nor cold as if you've reached the optimal temperature like in Goldilocks, when the little girl didn't like the very hot nor the very cold porridge but the one that was neither too hot nor cold (warm per se).

However, while this may sound fantastic it is not as stated in Revelation 3:15-17, "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked."

I know this is a lot to take in, but you must understand how God feels, for it is as if you are trying to be saved yet still partake in the things that are slowly killing you; makes no sense right? This is why in verse sixteen it says, "I will spit you out my mouth," for while you claim you are Christian behind closed doors or even in public you do not act like one.

This brings us to Hebrews 4:13, "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account." So, while you may think no one is aware of your actions God is and is everyone else who follows Christ, "For by their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit, you will recognize them." (Matthew 7:16-20)

But while distasteful you can still be saved if you repent and change from your sinful ways, meaning pick up your cross and die to yourself daily, following the spirit and not the flesh. For to be lukewarm is to be someone who clings to the flesh yet barely chases after the things of God, so do not wait to change, my brethren because while you may think you have time.

One day that time shall run out and you will realize the opportunity you missed and the blessings you could have reaped; for life is short and I am not saying do not have fun. But you must realize this current lifestyle of yours will lead you to an early grave if you do not change, and while it may not be in the physical sense, spiritually it will be.

So, stop chasing after the things of this world for they will never fill the void in your heart, my friend only God can do that. For his love knows no bounds and it can make a grown man cry, and the wretched worthy of Heaven, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

So, to end it off, stay positive and seek after God while there's still time, for the end times are upon us... and I will see you all next time, In Jesus Name Amen! ✌️❤️
