Day 4

Good Morning, My Fellow Kings, and Queens

May you all have a wonderful and blessed day as God guides your steps, renews your mind, strengthens your spirit, and replenishes your strength on this beautiful Sunday. That I for one am so thankful and gracious to experience, for there is beauty and wonder in the mundane and simplicities of life.

For example, witnessing the golden rays of sunlight as the Sun rises in the morning, or tuning in to the sound of wind, rain, and thunder on a dark night as you lay in bed reading your bible.

All I am saying is while every day may not be the best, do not allow it to ruin the beauty around you or take you out of the zone, to the point where everything somehow agitates you, which is never a good thing. Whether you are a believer or not, for if someone is easily offended or provoked to anger then you are susceptible to being manipulated and led astray.

This is why as followers of the good shepherd, we must remember to breathe and take a moment to reflect on what was said, before we reply as shown in James 1:19-20, "My dear brothers and sisters, understand this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for human anger does not accomplish God's righteousness."

So, when someone is trying to provoke you or test your patience don't leash out but instead breathe and give a quick prayer to God, for strength and restraint. Which is not easy at first, for even I am still working on that but with time like anything in life, you will get better.

Also, do take note of this scripture, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." (Matthew 5:11-12)

So, while it may get annoying know that to the unbeliever, everything you are standing for and practicing does not make sense to them. So of course they will judge, curse, and call you an idiot for chasing and believing a fairytale because to them the fairytale is a joke and is not something that can be true.

Even though it's clear as day that God exists and that there are facts to prove it, yet as stated in 2 Corinthians 3:13-17, "We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."

So, unless we preach the word of God to the lost, blind, and broken with love, not just as believers but as people who were once in that same place as them, things will never change and we will continue to see a world chase after the flesh rather than the spirit.

And I know this isn't something everyone is called to do, but at the bare minimum if you know your family and friends are walking down a path of death and not life, warn them of what's to come, pray for their salvation, and ask God to renew their hearts.

What I am trying to say is do what you can and leave the rest in God's hand for we are but planters and at times, what we plant will not always bear fruit at first glance. But as time goes by and you water it ever so often, eventually that seed shall sprout and transform into a mighty tree.

So, stay positive, read the bible, and God Bless! ✌️❤️
