Day 6

Good Morning, My Fellow Kings, and Queens

May you all have a wonderful and blessed Tuesday as God guides your steps, renews your mind, and strengthens your spirits on this fabulous day. So, as you head out this morning do not forget to thank God for waking you up and allowing you to experience another day in paradise.

And I know some of us would never consider this world a paradise, however, while we are still here, enjoy what you have and be thankful for everything that God has blessed you with and taken away from you.

Considering that not everything we do or deem right, is necessarily a good thing for our hearts can be deceptive and deceitful as stated in Jeremiah 17:9-10, "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? 'I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.'"

So be warned, for what we may think is just and correct can also be seen as wrong in the Lord's eye. For example, for the past week, someone has been bothering you constantly whenever they see you in the cafeteria during lunchtime, however, throughout the whole week you have been ignoring them and not giving them what they desire. But just as Monday comes around you get a call from family and it isn't a good one, so it places you in a depressive and angry state throughout the day, and guess who comes and pokes the hornet's nest once again at lunch unaware of the beast dwelling within seeking to be free.

And so, you did what anyone else would in this situation, you snapped and gave them an earful of harsh and rude words which allowed you to release the pent-up emotions swirling within. But while right in the world's eye and everyone else in the vicinity as a Christian and a follower of Christ we cannot do what the world thinks is right. But only what God's word tells and shows that is right to do:

"Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord. On the contrary: 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.' Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:17-21)

"'In your anger do not sin': Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold." (Ephesians 4:26-27)

"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." (Ephesians 4:29-32)

"Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore, put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls." (James 1:19-21)

So be a doer and not just a hearer of the word; I know this will not be easy for everyone but do remember that we do not walk this journey alone but with God right beside us. So, seek him and ask him for strength and guidance on how to be in all circumstances whether good or bad.

Overall, try your best to follow God's word to the best of your ability, also be aware of the test he sends us and the season you are currently in for every season has a purpose. Also, fortunately, we live in a time where the internet exists, "So ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."

But as in all things use discernment and go to God's word if you are unsure, and that is about it, so stay positive and I will see you all next time, God Bless! ✌️❤️
