Day 79

Good Morning, My Fellow Kings, and Queens

I hope and pray you are all having a fantastic day on this wonderful Monday as you head out this morning to work, school, or wherever, as I don't know what you all do on Mondays. But anywho enough rambling for me so as I was reading my bible this morning, I came across a verse I don't hear spoken that often or at all in Genesis 4:7, "If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it."

Now for those who do not remember Genesis that well this takes place before Cain kills his brother Abel following their offerings to God (Genesis 4:2-5). During this God did not regard Cain's offering which was the produce of the land, as compared to Abel's which was some of the firstborn of his flock and their fat portions. Which is what eventually led to Abel's death due to jealousy, something we have all seen throughout our lives and the lives of others.

This is more of a warning and a need to be cautious of those who act buddy-buddy but behind closed doors can be the death of you. As seen previously, however, this could have been easily avoided if Cain had given the first produce of the land instead of those harvested a couple of weeks or months later as stated in Genesis 4:3, "In the course of time, Cain presented some of the land's produce as an offering to the Lord."

Which corresponds to a scripture later stated in Proverbs 3:9-10, "Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine."

So, to close it, be wary of those who have nefarious plans due to jealousy, while on the other hand for those who have put in the work, time, and sweat into their craft or passion and are finally being rewarded for their effort. Do remember to give your first fruit of your labor to God, for he will make every subsequent harvest plentiful. Also, do what is right not what you think is right for while "A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps." (Proverbs 16:9)

So do not allow feels of jealously, anger, and resentment to cloud your judgment and make you do something you will one day regret, for God see's everything and there is nothing which is hidden from him. So, stay positive, read your bible, repent for your sins, and pray without cease for we all need God especially now.

And I will see you all next, God Bless! ❤️✌️
