Day 12

Good Morning, My Fellow Kings, and Queens

This has been a rocky couple of days for me from falling back into sin to then nearly forgiving up and saying, I am done with this too eventually returning to God and crying out to him in prayer. I know crazy but as a 20-year-old soon to turn twenty-one in a month and a few weeks, a lot has happened since I graduated from high school to finishing my first year in college and getting ready for my second year.

And I mean a lot because, in a year and a half, I encountered God through a seven-day fast which led to me reading the entire bible, meeting some amazing people, and making wonderful memories to victory over a 10-year porn addiction. That started after I repeated third grade and moved from Tamarac to Broward... so yeah, a lot has happened in my life.

Now I know I am not perfect but when it comes to God I want to be, which can be difficult even though Jesus is the precedent for how we should all act and be on our walks with God. However, human beings are flawed and fickle, so we must walk by the spirit and not by the flesh and remember that in our weakness God's strength is made perfect.

"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

So, as we approach the end of service, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

For there is victory in choosing to be with than against Jesus Christ, for victory has already been attained so, "we do not fight from the position of victory but of the position of victory," as Devotions With DeMarcus would say. Considering as stated in 2 Corinthians 15:56-57, "The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

So, remember the small and large wins whether conquered in light or darkness, for everything we do matters and will be judged when we take our final breath and while I may be young, I am not exempt from this trial as well.

So, to both you and I tighten up, repent & ask forgiveness, seek the lord daily, read his word, and as always stay positive and speak blessings rather than curses over your life. And I will see you all next, God Bless! ✌️❤️
