Good Morning, My Fellow Kings, and Queens

May you all have a wonderful and blessed day as God guides your steps, renews your mind, strengthens your spirit, and replenishes your strength on this fantastic Friday. For every day is a new day so be thankful for the days that passed and those to come, for we will never experience them again. So grateful for the days you have and appreciate the memories you made whether good or bad, "For we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)

However, that is not what we will be discussing today, today we will be diving into obedience and trust, two components that go together like two puzzle pieces. Now before we begin, we must first understand what these two concepts are, obedience is living according to the word and aligning ourselves with God's will, while trust is having faith in God and being able to have confidence in his promises, strength, and reliability.

For God cannot lie as stated in Balaam's poem in Numbers 23:19, "God is not a man, that he might lie, or a son of man, that he might change his mind. Does he speak and not act, or promise and not fulfill?" So as stated earlier God cannot lie meaning his word is the truth and while it may have been written by man God ordained it.

But that is beside the point, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, so to have obedience he must first listen to the word of God or be informed of his word whether by a pastor at a church or a sermon online. Through this, our faith can grow but that's only half of the equation for if we do not put what he heard into practice, but deliberately ignore such a word, we only can do more harm than good to ourselves.

Nonetheless, while true before jumping into something new, check if what you heard was true with the bible to be sure you are not being misled. So that moving forward you can begin living by the word for while we are hearers of the word, we must also be doers of the word.

Now that we have obedience out of the way, trust comes in place through faith which can be tricky for those just entering the body of Christ and for old believers. But while difficult this can best be depicted in The Chosen SZN:1 - Ep:4, where Samuel who lost his faith must rely on the word of the messiah even though his efforts from the night before until morning lead him to doubt that he can catch a harvest to reap his debt.

Just as we can trust a friend to do something for us, due to prolonged periods of them always coming through in the end; that is the same level of trust we should have in God or even higher. For while our current situation may say otherwise in the end the Lord always comes through, maybe not in the way we imagined but he still answered our cry for help.

So, to end it off have faith in God and his promises and while difficult try your best to live by the word. So as always stay positive and God Bless! ✌️❤️
