The lunch bell rang and my classmates began to slowly filter back into the classroom. Aizawa gave a few more explanations about the project before letting us splinter off into our assigned groups to discuss what we would do.

As I expected, Kirishima and Denki approached me first with Bakugou behind them as they brought their desks near mine. The only thing that was off about my theory was that Bakugou, instead of complaining in any way, silently observed. With his eyes mainly focused on me.

I figured he, for once, just decided to keep his mindless protests to himself despite them still coursing through his mind. So I kept my attention on Kirishima and Denki.

The red-head cheerfully walked up, "Inoue-San, right?"

I calmly nodded, "Yes, Kirishima-San."

He smiled brightly, "You're, like, super smart right? I mean, you wear glasses and everything. You're probably like Lida-San."

Denki nudged him with his elbow, "That's kind of an assumption."

"Well, I wouldn't say I'm stupid," I answered.

Their eyes all darted toward me, slightly widening at my bluntness.

"What?" I asked.

Kirishima and Denki began to laugh. Bakugou kept his eyes peeled on me, as if he was interrogating me with his mind.

Denki wiped the tears that welled up in his eyes as began to calm down, "Thank God, if I only had these two, I might be doomed."

Bakugou suddenly spoke up as he said, "You askin' for a beat down?"

Denki nervously waved his hands, "H-haha, of course not man."

Kirishima fearlessly wrapped his arm around Bakugou's neck, "Oh come on, bro. We're just messin'!"

Bakugou began to squirm and grumble loudly. That was more like him. I began to ponder what caused his previous silence. But I would think more about it later.

I began to speak despite them all roughing around like dogs that had gotten riled up, "So, we have a few options for this English project. We can make the PowerPoint based on one of the art pieces, literature, or philosophical works listed. Any ideas?"
