AMERICAAAA

What other amazing way to celebrate the fourth of July with non-Americans.

You stared at the four boys in front of you, decked out in the colors of the flag.

"[Y/N]," Matt started first as he looked at his American flag shirt with a bald eagle, "I feel stupid."

"I don't think that's anything new to you."

"I-"

"Are these really necessary?" Alex asked as he looked down at the American apparel.

You thought for a moment and gave him a bland answer, "Yes and no. You'll fit in more."

Alex was about to retort back but was shut up when he got thrown a water gun. He caught it nonetheless, but he was a bit surprised by it. The four boys watched as you dug deep into your garage and took out a bag of what seemed to be more water guns.

"Today, you four are going to become true Americans," you said as you took out three guns and handed it to the ones that didn't have one yet.

They stared at their proper gun and then at each other. Looks of disbelief and confusion crossed their faces.

"So..." Jamie started hesitantly, "A water gun fight?"

You dug into the bag and took out the biggest gun along with small pistols. "Right."

A round of silence was heard among the group as you put the tiny pistols in your pockets. It was broken by Matt again, "Sorry [Y/N], this is really stupid."

"Either that or you grill with my uncles," you said as you pointed a loaded Nerf gun at him and shot the foamy bullet. He flinched in response and shook his head. You went down the line of boys, pointing the loaded gun, and each boy shook their head. "Perfect!"

You moved around in the garage and pulled out another bag of empty water bottles that were meant for recycling. You took out four empty containers of orange juice and kicked them to the boys. "Before you guys ask, it's so you can reload your guns easier instead of coming back to my hose."

The boys' minds didn't seem to be working at this point. You frowned a bit at their attitudes but didn't give up yet. "It'll be fun..." it was all you got.

"I'll do it," Nick said first with a small smile.

"Thank you!" Finally.

"Are we going to be in teams or?..."

You shook your head, "Everyone versus everyone."

That seemed to get the rest on board, and soon enough, you helped them fill up their water containers and their extra bottles for their refills. Now that everyone was well equipped, you had to set some rules. One, don't be aggressive, and two, don't cross private property, but the whole neighborhood was free. And with that, everyone split up.
