Maleficent narrowed her eyes and waited to hear more. She had simply been trying to survive and raise Aurora to love the Moors as she did. Conall continued. "Maybe we don't have to hide from humans," he told her. "Maybe we can exist without fear and war. Maybe we can find a way...together." Maleficent's response was swift. "That will never happen." The pain in her stomach was a reminder of what happened when humans and faeries tried to coexist. The memory of Aurora looking at her with distrust was another.

Conall shook his head. "It already has," he said. "With you and Aurora." Turning, he lifted into the air. But before he left, he looked back at her. "Welcome home, Maleficent."

Maleficent's thoughts whirled around her head. Home. Was that where she was now? Could she learn to trust the Nest-and the other fey? She had spent so long feeling out of place, even among the Moors. Was this where she belonged?

Diaval spoke up."Both are your homes."

Mal hugged her mother and said."I will always be by your side, Mom."

Maleficent smiled at Mal and hugged her back.

While Aurora looked at the scene with slight envy and regret, she was comforted by Audrey and Philip.

Jaffar and Regina seeing this, simply thought."You only know the value of something until you lose it."

Aurora had given up. After hours of searching The Moors, She realized that Maleficent wasn't coming home. At least, not right away. With a heavy heart, she got back on her horse and rode to Castle Ulstead. From her horse,Pinto the impish troll fairy-like hedgehog, who had hidden herself jumped out and slowly sneaked into the Castle.

Aurora sighed and muttered."What are our doing, Pinto?"

Pinto innocently shrugged at Aurora, while sitting next to Buttons her spouse.

Pinto crept silently through the halls, her heart pounding as she slipped into the grand dining room. Her eyes darted around the room until they landed on a black feather lying on the floor—a clear sign of Maleficent’s presence. Nearby, she noticed a shattered window, and her worry deepened.

Moving carefully, she continued her exploration and eventually discovered the King’s bedroom. Through the slightly ajar door, she spotted King John lying still, his condition a mystery. Her curiosity piqued, but before she could step inside to investigate, a sudden hiss broke the silence.

The royal castle cat leapt into view, its piercing eyes locked on her. Startled, Pinto bolted down the hallway, the cat hot on her heels. In her panicked rush, she tripped and tumbled down a hidden stairwell, landing with a thud in a dark, eerie room. As she looked around, her breath caught in her throat—she had stumbled into Queen Ingrith’s secret lab.

Pinto was face to face with Lickspittle, who was confused by his sudden arrival. But even though Pinto tried curl up protect herself with the needle like spines, she was still captured by Lickspittle.

Everyone found it cute and endearing to see Pinto was sneaking into the Castle to find Maleficent, but they saw her reach the Kingsbedroom and to be only to get chased out by the cat and landed into the Lickspittles hands. Where she was kept in a bottle along with buttons, the mushroom fairy.

Pinto felt she let down Maleficent, but Maleficent comforted her."You did your best. And I am thankful for that."

Pinto smiled hearing that, while Evie commented."You know, if she was was not chased out by the cat. Pinto probably would have stuck around the king and probably would have have heard the Queen rant about her hate for King John."
