"Easier said than done, Ms. Winterford," Daphne remarked before taking another sip of her wine. "Evangeline, please," Evangeline corrected with a friendly smile. "Well, Ms. Daphne, I suppose you're both in luck, then. Finnick surely has made the Capitol swoon for him, so he'll surely be able to help with that dilemma."

Well, Finnick is also extremely handsome and has a confidence bigger than this whole train, Daphne thought to herself. Soon enough, the door to the train opened.

"And look who it is," Evangeline's smile widened when the golden boy entered the room. "We were just talking about you. All good things of course," she informed the mentor who took a seat near Evangeline.

Before being called to the games, Daphne would be silently squealing in her seat just being near the Capitol's golden boy, but seeing as she was now preparing for her confirmed death, she lacked such excitement. However, she'd be lying if she said he wasn't more handsome up close.

Daphne and Liam remained silent. It has become their trend by now to just keep their mouth shut and observe their surroundings. They took note of every word, move, and detail.

"I hope you didn't bore the poor tributes too much by speaking about me," Finnick commented with his classic grin, earning a laugh from Evangeline. "Oh please, you're never a bore," she told him through her laughter.

"So, how about we get to know each other a little?" Finnick suggested to the two tributes in front of him, his smile equally as welcoming as it was comforting. He took this time to evaluate the two tribute's physical attributes while waiting for a response.

Daphne was tallish for a girl, reaching about 5'9. She was rather slender, lacking the muscle that her brother possessed. Liam was a decent height. Finnick guessed he could be a little over six foot. Together, they weren't bad, but it wasn't necessarily the physical build he was worried about. Finnick was more concerned with their bond and how much they relied on each other. Connection could be considered both a strength and weakness in the games. He had his doubts of victory this year, that was for sure.

"How do we win?" Daphne asked in her usual blunt manner, earning an amused chuckle from Finnick as he was brought from his thoughts. "Straight to the point. I like it, respect it," he commented before propping his feet onto the coffee table that divided him and Evangeline from Liam and Daphne.

"Well, first, you need to get the Capitol to like you-" "So I've heard. Next?" Daphne interrupted, earning a jab from Liam's elbow. Daphne wasn't one to waste time. If she was going to plan her heroic saving of Liam, she was going to need all of the tips and tricks pronto. Finnick leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. "If you want to survive, you'll need to get them wrapped around your pretty finger, alright? You're as good as dead if the Capitol dislikes you," the mentor's tone turned more serious, causing Daphne to back down.
