i watched lucy grab her stuff and go up to her boyfriend they started yelling at each other and walked out of the bar, i followed behind "what the fuck is wrong with you?!" cody said yelling at lucy, "you embarrassed me in front of all those people!" he added. "i saw you at the bar with some whore!" lucy yelled, "she's not a whore." he said, "she's my friend." he also said "you were grinding against her, friends don't do that!" lucy said, "you know what i don't want to deal with this right now" she said walking away to her car. he grabbed her arm and pulled her back "no you don't get to walk away!" he said "YES I DO" she yelled "don't fucking speak to me that way!" he tried hitting her. i almost stepped in when lucy grabbed his arm "there are cameras out here! and my friends are inside stop!" lucy yelled. i was lucy walk away and cody went back into the bar.

i saw her car wasn't starting i walked over there to see her crying and hitting the steering wheel. i knocked on the window, she opened the door "can i give you a ride home?" i asked, "what? no i'll call a uber or something" she said "no let me give you a ride." i said "okay fine" she said. we walk over to my car and we got in "what's your address?" i asked she gave it to me and we drove over, it was a quiet drive. i pulled into the parking lot, "want me to come up with you?" i asked "oh no it's fine" she said "thank you by the way." she added. she got out of the car and i started to drive home. i stopped at a gas station and filled up my car and ran inside to grab a snack. my phone started ringing it was lucy. "hello?" i said, i didn't hear anything "hello?" i said again, i heard her boyfriend yelling "lucy what is happening?!" i said, "tim how fast can you get here" she said in a soft shaky voice "on my way" i said "don't hang up where are you?" i added "in my apartment the bedroom." lucy said "okay stay there hide somewhere in there." i said, i heard he pushing something in front of the door. "i'm 10 minutes away." i said. i could hear more yelling, lucy sounded terrified. "where you you hiding?" i said "in the bathroom in my room." she said very quietly, "please don't" i heard her yell. "where are you??" and also said, "don't worry i'm almost there." i said, "this is off duty officer bradford, there's something happening at off duty chens apartment i'm almost there ETA 2 minutes." i said over my radio "lucy?" i said. no response, "lucy are you there still?" i said i heard a scream over the phone. "LUCY?" i said. i got into the parking lot and ran inside, i went into the apartment building and ran up the stairs and to her place i tried opening the door it was locked i kicked in the door and grabbed my gun, i walked in i didn't see anyone. cody walked out of the bedroom "who the fuck are you and why are you in here!" he said. he walked up to me "put your hands where i can see them!" i yelled, he put them up and went to the ground. "there's nothing you can do for her." he said i cuffed him and ran into the bedrooms bathroom "lucy?!" i said, i saw her laying on the ground, i ran over to her checking her pulse. it was there but weak other officers entered the room "we need an ambulance!" i said,

the ambulance showed up and they put her on the gurney, i got in and we went to the hospital.
