"𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐎 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐈"

"Oh, would you look at that, who is this petty human you've brought again?" Sukuna spat, a hint of curiosity and mockery lacing his tone.

He rose over his throne, taking curt steps towards the young girl who cowered under his intimidating aura.

His gaze periling as ever.

"Just some slave I stumbled upon," Kenjaku waved his hand, a futile attempt to dismiss his curiosity.

"She has got a pretty face too."

The girl never dared to look up, she could feel her feet tremble just by the intensity of his gaze.

"Just some slave, huh?" Sukuna repeated before flicking his finger over, prompting her to meet his eyes.

'S-Sukuna...Ryomen..Sukuna...' like a mantra that echoed through her mind.

"What is going on here?" a perplexed Y/N came into view as she walked inside the shrine, her eyes stealing a glance towards the man in Kimono, a sinister smirk dancing on his lips as always.

She gave him a disapproving look, before turning to the man seated infront of her, now, with a slight furrow on his face, as their eyes met.

The trembling girl on the other hand felt her adrenaline rush, as she jolted up to look at the lady, her gaze almost sending daggers at her back.

"What is going on in here, I asked." she pressed once again, her gaze peripheral.

"Don't sweat it. Kenjaku right here has brought yet another of his slave girls." he snickered back.

"Slave girl, you say?" she scoffed, slowly turning away from him, her eyes now solely on the girl on the floor.

"Yes. Just a slave girl." Kenjaku smiled, stepping in, as he walled the girl from Y/N.

"Now, now, cut the tension will you,
Y/N?" Sukuna sighed, shaking his head slightly as he kept a hand on her shoulder.

"No," she refused sharply, her face still contorted into a scowl, "not until I see her out-"

"You seem rather restless today, I wonder what's the occasion?" Sukuna jested, waving your persistence away.

"Let them be." He enounced, his tone almost comical.

"You can't be serious, We don't even know her! And besides..." you trailed of unable to continue, uncertainty, doubts-your emotions a whirlwind of notions you wanted to push down...but they kept coming right back.

She was no ordinary "slave" you knew that much, for certain, given how she went ballistic the first time she saw you in that ryokan, the words she said to you, still irked you like a pin pricking through the skin...her implications were not the clearest out there but you knew...what she wanted to mean....

A life full of deceit? Outrageous! How dare she-

"I know her," Kenjaku asserted a sly smile curving up at the corner of his lips as he looked at Sukuna expectantly..."isn't that enough of a reason, why his majesty, should let her stay?"
