"I have nothing to do it feels nice because this is the first year I actually get to focus on social media but i literally lived off the academic validation so it's kinda weird not having any school work you know" I speak out to my camera that was capturing my every move for people watching my live to see.
"What did I graduate with? I graduated with a bachelors in communications and journalism I did some internships the last two years but i was starting to feel really burnt out and wanted some time for myself and figure everything out and im so glad i have social media as that outlet" I explain some more.
"Yes that also means she'll be more active on YouTube" my best friend Leah says chiming in walking to our kitchen of our shared flat.
"Yes that too so be on the lookout for more videos" I smile leaning onto the counter. "Any plans for this week? Someone asked" Leah says giggling. "We have been binging women's basketball almost every single day all the different teams" she adds.
"It's so interesting who knew" i say trying to read all the comments. 'Yes it's so interesting' 'favorite team?' 'It's so good and the players are fineeee' I read the comments as they pop up quickly. "Our favorite team is probably UConn or maybe LSU or obviously Iowa" Leah says.
"It's so hard since they're all amazing teams" I shrug. "Bro yes I would be down" Leah exclaims excitedly "what?" "They asked if we would go to a game" "oh Leah has been begging to go to a game but I feel like that isn't our scene" I chuckle.
"See they're all saying you should go and make a vlog out of it" "that'd be kinda lame only because I would be new to the scene" "guys a couple days ago Gabbie Marshall followed her" "she did and I think it's because some people that are on my spam tattled about my newfound interest because that was so random" I laugh.
"Gabbie if you see this you should invite us to your game and you're very beautiful" Leah smiles holding a thumbs up. "She's kidding well you are very beautiful though" "I'm not but I mean at least like a reservation or something" "shut it she's kidding" I say smacking her arm.
"Whatever....lets go get some food" she says turning to me "what do you want" "mmm i was thinking like chipotle or Chick-fil-A" she smiles "Chick-fil-A sounds good" "Chick-fil-A it is then bye guys" she says waving before heading back into her room.
"Okay guys that's the end for today I'm uploading a video tomorrow so stay tuned for that and I'll talk to you guys later bye" I say waving to the camera before pressing the button to end the live stream.
