"Trust me they have the best matcha" my sister says opening the door of the coffee shop for me. "Just order 2 iced marchas with oat milk" my sister says handing me her card.
"Hi you ready to order?" The cashier smiles to me "yeah I'll have 2 iced marchas with oat milk please" "of course anything else?" She asks "I'll add 2 croissants" "great it'll be 24.72 tap here" she says holding the machine I tap and hear the little ding so I pull the phone away.
I scoot over to where the drinks are placed when they're ready and wait for the two drinks. "Here is your croissants" she says handing them to me. "Who found this you or Logan?" I ask my sister referring to the coffee shop" "me of course while I was at your place with the movers."
"I can't tell if that's a good thing" I joke with her making her laugh. "Are you so happy to be back here" she asks "I lowkey am I feel like as much as I liked the beaches I enjoy the countryside more" she nods "understandable can't take the country out of a Texas girl.
"And here are the drinks for you" she says handing us our drinks. "You're so pretty by the way" the barista tells me "Awh oh my gosh thank you, you're so sweet thank you so are you" I smile back. "Here's this for you open it later" she smiles handing me a piece of paper. "Thanks have a nice day" my sister waves rushing me out the door.
"They have an outdoor seating in the back let's go" she says. "Nooo I thought we were going back home you said" I groan. "I just want to check it out please" she insists. "Fine."
We make our way to the back and see a lot of picnic tables and swings going alongside the back with some tables. Not too filled with people but still a good amount.
"Ooo let's try the swings" my sister says leading the way. "Someone's sitting there you weirdo" I say as she's making her way to the one where so clearly someone was sitting.
"This one has the flowers in the background a picture would be cute it will only take a second they shouldn't mind" she shrugs. "Excu-" "Bianca stop it the-" before I know it the girl turns around reviling a familiar face.
"Kate!" I squeal with excitement as she gets up. I skip over and hug her "hi pretty girl" she says kissing my temple. "I thought you hadn't gotten your tickets" I say pulling away from the hug. "You really think I'd miss the opportunity to come see you" she says making me smile.
"Did you Uber here or did Bianca pick you up?" "Bianca picked me up brought me here" she explains as we all take a seat. "You ate already?" I ask she nods. "We got her a bagel and coffee so she could eat here in the meantime" Bianca tells me. "You guys this was so cute thanks B" I smile over at my sister on the opposite side of us.
I finally take off my purse and put everything k had in my hands down. "What does the paper say?" My sister asks referring to the note the barista had given me moments before.
"Oh right I forgot" I say pulling it out of my jean pocket to open it to read making me giggle. "What does it say?" My sister asks "you're a very pretty girl let me take you out for coffee sometime and then it has her number with a heart" I say showing her.
"Oooo Kate has competition" my sister teases making us laugh. "Who was that?" Kate asks "the barista inside see me personally if someone ever did that to Logan I'd call them out she even told her she was pretty while giving us our drinks" Bianca tattles.
"I've got no competition" Kate says making us laugh. "Well Logan is here for me I'll let you two love birds catch up I'll see you later Kate it was a pleasure meeting you oh actually your stuff is in my car" my sister say embracing both of us in a hug. "Well then we'll head out with you" I tell her before she makes her way out.
We make our way to the parking lot as she makes her way to her car. Logan gets out and embraces his wife. I open the back of her car "I'll get them" Kate stops me from getting her luggage's. "Hi bug" Logan says hugging me.
"Hi you didn't go in to work today?" I ask "I visited the sight earlier so I have the rest of the day off" he shrugs. "Kate this is Logan Logan this is Kate" I smile as they shake hands exchanging 'their nice to meet you's'.

"I can't believe you're in my city in my house" I say looking at Kate next to me on the couch. "Well believe it because you have me to yourself for the next 4 days" she says making me laugh. "I'm going to give you all the tours to the city you'll love or well actually maybe we should give you some rest you've had a packed week" I say.
"Anything with you I'll enjoy" she shrugs "I think we should rest you up" I say getting up taking her hand so she follows me into my bedroom. "This is my room and this is my bed" "why is it on the floor" Kate laughs "i haven't found a bed frame that's besides the point still comfy nonetheless" I shrug watching her lay on my bed.
I follow and sit next to her I smile as she puts her hand on my waist tugging me towards her. She sits up as I straddle over her close in proximity.
"I missed you like crazy" she says "really?" I ask getting a hummed response from her. Closing the space between us I press my lips onto hers wanting to be as close as possible to her. "Mm yeah definitely missed you like crazy" she says breaking the kiss making me laugh.
