...

When Minho arrived home from work last night he was absolutely exhausted. Running a company was way too tiring, especially when some of his workers were borderline incompetent. And he was pretty sure Jisung was getting tired of hearing him complain about his workload every night while he was trying to sleep.

Even still, Minho was still grateful for his position and his job. He intended to keep that position for as long as possible so that he could always take care of the most important thing to him: his family.

Secretly, Minho hoped that one day Jisung would be open to having another kid. Minho liked being a girl dad, but he felt that he would be happy no matter what. He knew that his parents were itching for another grandchild, as well as Jisung's family.

Sun-hee was the only grandchild since Jisung's brother and his husband had not had kids yet, so she was spoiled near to rotten by her grandparents, but Minho could tell she was jealous of all friends who had siblings. Jisung however, didn't want to hear anything about another kid until Minho could find a way to be at home more often.

So he decided to take the next day off, just spend time with his family, sleep, and sleep some more. Jisung smiled so hard when Minho told him that last night. The two lovers had been wrapped in each other's embrace, the room was silent except for the soft hum of their breaths.

"Baby, I think I'm gonna take the day off tomorrow. I want to be here with you."  Minho smiled as Jisung's eyes lit up, "Really?" Minho nodded and snuggled even closer into his husband's chest, "Yeah, I think they can handle themselves for at least a day."

Jisung pressed a kiss to Minho's forehead, "Thank you, darling."

...

In the early morning, the sleeping couple was awakened by a small mass landing on them. Jisung and Minho flew apart with an 'oof'. "Sun-hee! What the he- what in the world?" Jisung stuttered, still tying to wake up and to not cuss around his kid. Their daughter just giggled and crawled into Jisung's lap.

"It's morning and I'm hungry," the little girl said dramatically, pantomiming her cat plushie fainting. Minho rubbed his eyes and just blankly stared at his husband and daughter until his brain caught up with the fact that he was awake.

"Good morning papa!" Sun-hee smiled and crawled off Jisung's lap into Minho's. She instantly cuddled into his arms, "Can we make breakfast together? Please?" Jisung shook and head, laughing silently as he compared his husband and daughter, and their need for food as soon as their eyes opened. He got out of bed and walked towards the door, "Lee Sun-hee, let's start breakfast and give your papa a second to wake up."

Minho thanked his Jisung for being himself and knowing him so well. And for taking their morning person of a daughter away from him. Minho, whenever he had the opportunity, could sleep into the late afternoon. Of course it wasn't that often due to his work and also being a father.

Jisung had told him many times how much of a cuddly grump he was in the mornings. He smiled at the memories of Jisung's fingers brushing his face gently in the mornings, his soft kisses on Minho's face, and the sound of his voice, coaxing Minho out of his slumber. Those lazy mornings were some of Minho's fondest memories. Every memory with Jisung was among his favorites.

Minho rubbed his face and stood up from his bed, making his way to the kitchen so that he could help Jisung and Sun-hee with breakfast. Jisung was standing at the counter, pouring coffee into a mug while Sun-hee was trying to climb the handles of the cabinets to see the top of the counter top.
