I'm with my family the week before I head off to canada. Sitting inside with my Mom, Anabel, and Ryder while watching my dads favorite movie, 'Hot tub time machine.' The incredibly inappropriate movie has been our go too every year, covering Ryder's eyes and ears at most parts.
My phone lights up to a text from Lando. I turn my brightness down and hide my phone from my family because of our strict No Texting during movies rule.

I turn my phone face down when Anabel smiles at me, laughing at a part of the movie. My mom and I talk about the casting for a few minutes so I don't open my phone again until she gets up to make more popcorn and we pause the movie.
