I wake up with a girl in my bed.

I rub my eyes and check the clock, Five in the morning.  I roll out of bed, poking the girl next to me, a pretty blonde that knew Oscar in highschool.

She ends up grabbing her things, wanting to get out of here more than I do. We walk to the front door, she kissing me on the cheek before booking it outside where her car is.

"Hot night?" I jump at the familiar voice, turning around to see Caroline in a workout set, filling up her water bottle.

I walk past her to the fridge, "hot night?" I mock.

"Someone's in a good mood." She unscrews the cap of her water, taking a sip as I move to find the cereal.

I grab captain crunch and open the box, "It's too fucking early for this." I throw some of the sweet cereal into my mouth.

"Go back to sleep then?" She sits on the floor and pulls her shoes on.

I glance down at her before continuing to munch on my breakfast. "How's your arm?" I attempt to say casually.

She ties off her last shoe and stands, stretching her legs a bit. "Okay." She doesn't have a bandage on it anymore and it's looking alright.

I turn around to fill a cup with water and when I turn back to her she's bent over, touching her toes, ass in the air.

I physically react, coughing. I try to cover it up but choking in an otherwise quiet house isn't for the weak. She's laughing when she stands back up, "Can I leave, or will you die by captain crunch in my absence?"

I lean against the cool countertop, "Would you care either way?" She shrugs, walking out the front door without saying a word. I see her start to run as she reaches the end of the driveway.

I'm about to look away when she turns around, almost like she'd known I would be looking, and sticks her tounge out.

Media day comes faster than I'd like, two weeks have flown by in a mess of interviews, youtube videos, and working out.

I walk down the paddock in all black, my 4 chain dangling from my neck.

"Lando! Lando!" a young boy runs up to me, I smile and kneel down to his height, "Could you sign this?" He's got an accent similar to mine and sports the UK flag. He holds up a McLaren hat that's way too big for him. I nod and do as I'm told.

I see his dad behind him, taking a photo. I smile and hand the kid a pin from my pocket. I thought it was stupid at first but my PR manager wouldn't give me a choice.

It's papaya orange with my logo on it, signed with a 'you can do anything' message. He looks at me with starstruck eyes, throwing his tiny arms around me.

I laugh, "You have a good day, buddy." I ruffle his hair before walking away.

I made it to hospitality after many signatures and selfies. Oscar is already there and Carlos has joined him, "Hey!" I dap up Carlos, "How're you feeling?"

He lifts up his shirt and shows the bandage that covers his appendix scar, "Like fire. Todays gonna be good." I nod and put my stuff down.

"You see Caro today?" Oscar asks and I mentally roll my eyes because she's always being brought up.

But the question isn't directed at me, "Nah." Carlos says, "Heard she's in some media scandal." This perks my attention up.

"It's shit." Oscar shakes his head, "There's a video of her cussing out a guy- her driver. But no one saw the creepy shit he said to her!"
