"Caro birthday weekend!" Johnny chants, "Caro birthday weekend!" I practically forced Johnny and Cara to get on a flight to Italy when I realized my birthday fell on a race day.

My two amazing best friends got on two planes and made it to Monza just to celebrate with me. We're at breakfast before I have to head to the paddock for media day.

I cut into my pancakes as Cara claps, "So catch up time!"

I smile, "Summer break was perfect! seriously just what I needed. I went to Monaco, hung with Alex and some of the guys... that's it basically." I leave out the point where Jackson tried to break in because as soon as they found out, they tried to send a bag of shit to his house.

"I can't believe you didn't tell us that Lando was at your house for a whole week!" Cara groans, we all had met up the first week of break but they are both extremely busy.

"Yeah what's up with that?" Johnny asks, "And don't say it's nothing because if it was nothing then you would have told us!"

I bite my lip, "He needed somewhere to stay."

"Are we talking about the same millionaire?" Cara teases.

"He's my friend."

"A friend!" Johnny gasps dramatically, holding onto Cara's shoulder as she grabs onto him.

"Oh my days Ms Caroline Wells has left her hot enemy in the past!" I shake my head as Cara speaks in a southern accent.

"Quiet!" I tell them, "We had fun. That's it!" I try to not smile but the memories of our week come rushing back.

"So when are you gonna ask him out?" Johnny says casually as I frown.

"Never? I don't like him like that."

Cara shakes her head, her ponytail swinging behind her, "Caro."

"At least fuck him." Johnny says so casually that i'm honestly afraid for him.

"Johnny!" Cara hits his arm.

"What!? I'm serious. All that pent up anger? It's hot. Lose your Lando virginity!"

I laugh and mumble, "It's a bit too late for that."

Expectedly, They freak out.

"Shh!" I quiet them, "You get two questions each."

"When!?" Johnny blurts out.

"Night I got cheated on." They look at eachother, "That was the first time."

"There's more!?" Cara squeals, "My prayers have been answered! Okay... Most recently?"

I think for a second, not really wanting to tell them, "Yesterday..." They freak out again.

Johnny cuts in through the chaos, "How good?"

I pause, smirking a bit. That is all the answer they need because we all break down in laughter. Cara shakes her head, "I can't believe this! Why didn't you tell us?"

"We wanted to keep it quiet. I know you two would it's just... I kinda liked it being just our thing. Except my sister knows." They nod along to my answer. "But anyway- Do not tell! And I gotta go, I've been late enough times this week. One time involving me wearing his hat. B is pissed."

Quali is a mess, but I make it through to Q3. I earn myself P3 as my starting position but honestly nothing can bring me down when I see my two best friends in my garage.
