I scream as I rip my helmet off of my head, Throwing a fist into the air as I win the first grand prix of the season. We're in Bahrain during the first week of march. I step out of my car and run over to my team, "Let's fucking go!" I'm embraced in a sea of black red and yellow.

"Darling!" I hear the familiar voice of my best friend, even though i'm out of it and everyone is screaming I hug her over the baracade, "You fucking smashed it, i'm so proud!" she screams into my ear. Bianca Rivers is my dream girl, all 5'0 of her.

B became my best friend immediately after my first race last year. She's me and Max's PR manager and my saving grace.

I'm a mess as I walk into the building, closing the cool down room door while the "I LOVE YOU." and "CONGRATS!" quiet outside. The pre race interviews went by in a flash and suddenly i'm drinking my water in my #1 chair.

"Caro." Max Verstappen walks in, smiling and pulling me in to a side hug. Max has become a sort of mentor and big brother for me in the past two years, "You beat me but it's okay because you're you." He grins and pushes my shoulder playfully.

"That was fucking insane." I lean my head back, listening to the playback on the screen, "You almost took out Russell!"

Max shrugs, "He was in my way." The door swings open to reveal our #3, Lewis Hamilton. He nods at us and i'm again amazed at his nonchalantness.

"Great job overtaking Max, Care bear." I roll my eyes at the nickname I've been granted by the boys.

"Someone had to do it."

We watch some playback, get to the podium, and after getting drenched in champagne we finally make it back to our rooms. I lay on my floor (not wanting to get my grossness onto any other surface) and sigh. I can't wipe the smile from my face.

My second year in F1 was awesome, and before that, my Rookie year was crazy, being the first women to race in F1 in over 50 years, I finally felt at home with my new team. I was 19 at the start of my rookie season, not even being able to drink but I sprayed the shit out of the champagne when I won for the first time. I'm Twenty One now and feel fully immersed in the sport.

I won't lie, Red Bull took a risk with me. I'm very hot headed and not at all calculated, but they took me and it paid off.

My goal this year? To win the championship.

I swipe on some lipstick and grab my bag, "Caroline Ruby Wells, Hurry up!"

I roll my eyes at B's words, "My middle name is not Ruby!" I say as I walk outside, closing my hotel door behind me.

She smiles at me, "You look stunning." I'm hit again with her French accent that I could listen to for hours. Her hair is ultra curly today and she sports a red dress. It's the opposite to my tight black tank top and matching black skirt. I have a silver bag that goes with all my silver jewelry .

It's supposed to be cool here in March but the humidity is getting to my hair so I decided to leave it wavy.

"Babe look at you!" I laugh as we walk to the elevator, "You excited?"

"A night off work? Always." Even though Bea technically works for me, the whole coworkers rule doesn't apply to us. Especially in Formula 1 because of how often we're together.

We get in the elevator, chatting about the race and how today went- when a hand stops the doors from closing, "Sorry!" Daniel Ricardo grins down at us, "Oh hey Caroline! Bianca!" He's with two others, Max and- Ugh.
