Brookyln was still recovering in the hospital. Today, she actually had something to do.
Leah had dropped by and gave her the work she had missed at school, and it was a lot of work.
She still had an iv in her arm, and the thing that monitors your heart beat, God, she was so annoyed on the constant beep it would make.
She was just doing her missing work. It was fairly easy.
Then the doctor came in. "There's two people who want to see you."
She set the math homework she was just doing on the side table of the hospital bed.
"Okay," she said.
Then, the two f.b.i agents who had asked her questions came in, along with another person.
"Hello, do I need to answer any more questions?" Brooklyn said.
"No, we, well, he needs to tell you something," the new girl said, pointing to one of the boys who she believed was Dr Spencer Reid, if she was remembering correctly.
"Oh, and I'm JJ. Nice to meet you."
"So.. the uh thing I have to tell you um.. so you had a stepfather and a biological mother," Dr Spencer Reid started saying.
"Yeah?" Brooklyn said, confused.
"Well, your biological father is.. me.." He finished saying.
Brooklyn was in total shock, "what?"
"I know it may be a shock since you barely know him, but it's true," JJ said to her.
"B-but we don't even look alike, I have blonde hair," Brooklyn said.
"That's because your mother had blonde hair," Derek Morgan said.
"Okay.." Brookyln said, still in disbelief.

When they finally left, the doctor told Soencer that she'd be released from the hospital in a few days, which was good. Now Spencer had a few days to get a bedroom for Brooklyn in his house.
When they were heading out of the hospital, Spencer said, "Hey, can I ask a favor?"
"Sure," Derek said.
"Yeah," JJ said.
"I need help getting a room ready in my house for when Brooklyn moves in."
"Yeah, we'll help you, bud," Derek said.
"Yeah, maybe a few others will help back at the bau," JJ said.
They got back to the bau, and Spencer went to his work space, which was right next to Prentiss's.
"Hey Emily," Spencer said.
"Yeah," she said.
"Just asking, would you wanna help me out with getting a room together in my house for when Brooklyn moves in? She's released from the hospital in a few days," Spencer said.
